Isekai'd

The universe is vast. So vast that many believe it to be infinite in its size and possibility. On top of that, our universe is not the only one; there are many more all clustered together like individual bubbles in a bubble-bath. Many of these other universes have different rules, different people, and different worlds than ours. Some of them even have deities that watch over them, and that can glimpse into universes like ours.

Though there are many universes out there that have no such concept, our universe is unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on who you ask) rife with . People die everyday on our little blue ball for any number of reasons. Sometimes these deaths are natural and at the end of a long and fulfilled life of conquered dreams and accomplishments, surrounded by loved ones and friends to see them off. Sometimes these deaths are far less fortunate and are filled with tragedy.

Very rarely, the god or goddess of another universe will see the of someone and feel so bad for the one who perished they allow them to be reborn in their own world with their blessing. Often with gifts and perhaps even tasks for them to complete in exchange for granting the soul a second chance at life.

This is one such occasion. Our hero has died in our world and a benevolent(?) deity has saw fit to reincarnate them. But let’s not dwell too much on the details and jump right into the action, shall we?
