Chapter 3 by DamianFreeUseLover669 DamianFreeUseLover669

In this world...

Feminism

Feminism does still exist in this reality, but it's a much harder sell and rather than an organic movement that started off well intentioned but eventually got co-opted by Marxism, here it's a product of Marxism with no ties or relation to the suffragette movement - though it claims to be the case. And like all things Marxist - and Left-Wing in general - the end goal of Feminism is the total destruction of society.

The reason why Feminism is a much harder sell is because it's kinda hard to claim that there are no differences between men & women, that the sexes are 100% equal or that women are somehow superior to men when in this reality, that's clearly not the case and the differences are much more apparent.

Another reason is because even though this is technically a patriarchal world, women throughout most of history in this reality - especially in the West - had a much higher degree of privilege & social status. Men need women and women need men, thus creating a dynamic that's much more egalitarian & mutualistic. Yeah sure, misogyny runs rampant but since humans are hypersexual beings, those acts are way more excusable. There was the Women's Suffrage Movement but it succeeded and had pretty overwhelming male support compared to the dismal female support before those victories were made. Women may be seen as sexually & biologically inferior, but in the West, they've had a lot more social equality. Not exactly the best environment where a movement like Feminism can firmly plant its roots.

Despite the more hostile environment, Feminism has still had some unfortunate cultural victories such as Roe v. Wade, no fault divorce, female-biased child custody court, girl boss culture and a more hostile dating market - for both men & women.
