A Rebel Girl, She Cried "More, More, More"

It is getting to be later in the evening, the time when everyone is done working and finding their preferred nighttime leisure, and you’re passing through the busy streets of the capitol’s service quarter. You spent the late afternoon and early evening going over your options, trying and failing to talk yourself into a certain path before coming up with an excuse to think longer. Finally, you simply took to wandering.

“Well, if it isn’t the King’s lapdog. I didn’t see any gutted innocents at the clinic, so I assume you had the day off?”

You turn to see the familiar, beautiful, and scowling face of your ex-companion Layleen. The girl you saved from being sold into slavery, who spent the next few months hailing you as a hero to any who would listen, and who just as quickly threw you off that pedestal when you had to make a tough call on the job.

“My last few jobs have been handling caravans coming back from the checkpoints. You’d probably enjoy it, a lot of people reuniting with family members who were on the other side of the blockade.” Also, just as many people paying to be reunited with their pricey possessions that were on the other side of the blockade, but you leave that part out.

“That must be rather boring for you, Alan. Didn’t you say caravan duty was the lowest form of adventuring?”

Even though you know it’s likely a stupid idea, a plan starts forming in your mind. It would be a real test of the power of the Eye of Magada. “It certainly is. Got a good one now, though. We’re setting out tomorrow on route to the Temple of Lymera.” The Temple was something Layleen always talked about wanting to see, a bastion of peace in a land full of **** and corruption. You see her eyebrows rise.

“Oh, what business could you have with the Goddess of Peace and Love? Seeking absolution?”

“Returning a stolen artifact. A stone that the tales say was so important Lymera herself requested it be given to her. Clara’s still on board, and we have a soldier for the heavy stuff. Still looking for a qualified healer, though.”

“Are you serious?” You’re surprised that she sounds just a bit sincere rather than the venomous sarcasm you expected. “Bris was our last job together, Alan.”

The Battle of Bris was a turning point in the latter part of the war. A smallish town in the northwest of Forentia, it was the site of the first battle to take place on Old Forentian soil. Your crew had been hired by the town’s mayor through a standard “monster threat” posting, only to find out when you arrived they were looking for quite a different kind of help. The mayor had recognized that Matille and Forentia’s armies were massing for a battle that would put his town in the crosshairs, and basically asked you to save them from both sides.

Bris wasn’t valuable as a strategic position, it wasn’t walled and had only modest supplies, but you discovered that Forentia was planning to rush in and occupy as a first step in the engagement. You also discovered that this decision was made after a “spy” was captured with orders saying Matille intended the same and had sympathizers within Bris ready to aid them, which you immediately found suspect. Sure enough, further investigation showed Matille massed to pincer the town once Forentia was inside. You brought proof to Forentia’s generals, allowing them to avoid the trap and turn it on its head.

While you could say that you did the job and saved the town, Layleen saw things very differently. Your info led to half of Matille’s divided platoon being slaughtered and the other half retreating, and a lot of rank and file soldiers, many of them farm boys not unlike you could have been, never made it home. You got a royal commendation for distinguished service by a civilian but lost the girl, leaving you feeling not very heroic at all.

The reminder brings up all of the stubborn, bitter feelings you felt when Layleen left, but now you have something you can do about it. If you’re willing to bend the truth a bit, that is.

“This artifact was stolen when Forentian bandits sacked the Temple, and now the King thinks returning it will help the treaty negotiations go well.”

She sneers, “I should have known you…”

You cut her off, making your play. “But the messenger gets to write the message here, Layleen. I can just as easily say I’m from Vostberg, a denizen of the disputed territories liberating something that doesn’t belong to Forentia.”

There are 15 “disputed territories,” small former kingdoms, city-states, and ungoverned areas that were conquered by Forentia, each having differing opinions as to who they want ruling. Many were taken by Matille in the counter-offensive, and a big part of the treaty negotiations will be deciding who gets to own them now; Forentia, Matille, or otherwise.

“You…could? Why would you do that now? Is that really your plan?”

“I’m going to do what I think is right. Just like when I made sure that no soldier set foot in Bris, just like when I led that Guard Captain out of Grace Bluffs in shackles. We’ll be traveling through the territories on the way north, one way or another. There’ll be time to observe, to find out what the people really want, and go from there.”

Her eyes are a bit misty, likely remembering her own past as much as considering the plight of those in the territories. You feel like a bit of a cad, but you’re also surprised with some of the honesty in your pitch. You don’t have any loyalty to King Roche, after all. You remove the writ detailing the job from your pack, and show Layleen. “That’s the job, and you’ll notice that it only says “Deliver package to High Priestess Nora at the Temple of Lymera.”

She eyes the directive, bristling at the crown’s seal but considering the words, “The artifact isn’t where it needs to be, and you’ll rectify that, huh?”

“Problem, problem solved.”

She stares at you for a long time, trying to unlock your true motives with her will alone. Then she rolls up the writ. “I get to keep this, and if I think you’re being dishonest I’ll tear it up myself, and you’ll get no payoff. Promise me that, and I’ll join your party.”

You pause, wondering how that declaration would be influenced by the Eye, as you don’t want to risk your or your companions’ pay, but the power of the blessing is going to both of your heads, “You’ve got a deal.”

You don’t know what you expected, or whether you were going to try and activate the blessing’s power immediately, but that question becomes moot when Layleen carefully rolls up the writ, puts it away in her bag, and jumps into your arms.

“I knew it! I knew you were a hero!” She plants kisses on your brow and cheek before finding your lips.

“I mean…I’m not sure I would go that far.” She pushed you back until you are **** to take a seat on the fountain in the public square, and she follows you down, straddling your lap.

“You can’t fool me. I knew you were conflicted about Bris, unwilling to admit your mistake, but now we’re going to bring freedom to soooo many people!”

“Mistake,” you start angrily, before Layleen’s tongue is back in your mouth. You realize that this was pretty much your goal, although the seeming loss of control is throwing you off a bit. You also realize that unlike your previous encounters, this one is taking place in the middle of a busy street, and decide to simply enjoy yourself. You lift her up and turn her around in your lap, then move the straps down on her dress to reveal her tits to anyone passing by.

Layleen brings her lips to the side of your face, nibbling your ear. “I’m going to take care of you so well you won’t be able to think about Forenti…oh!”

You silence her by tweaking her nipples just hard enough to hurt, which you resolve to do anytime she mentions kingdoms or rulers from now on. Your hands are working underneath her dress to remove her panties, and after you start working on your own pants until your cock is free.

Layleen squeals as you enter her. “Mmmm, I’ve missed this.” That strokes your ego a bit, and you quickly have her bouncing in a pleasurable rhythm as the crowd continues passing.

The reaction of the crowd is surreal as you take it in. Many simply walk by without pausing. Some give you a glance, blushing before keeping on their way. You spot one older woman giving you a sidelong glance, no more passionate than you’d expect she’d by at a couple making out. One young couple actually stops, the girl whispering something to her boyfriend, who gives her a chaste peck on the lips. You’re amazed that your display is on par with that small bit of public affection.

“Oh, yes! Mmmm.” Layleen continues with a stream of vocalizations. The two of you always made a bit of noise when you were together, and now is no different.

Your head is rushing from the intense pleasure and strange spectacle, and you want to know more about what Layleen perceives about the act. “Do you want all these people to see you getting fucked?”

“I don’t care who sees! I’m with my hero! A man who’s going to save us! Everyone should see how great this is!”

“I’m close, Layleen,” you grunt out, the situation quickly building up your excitement.

“Do it! Cum inside me! We’re going to do..Mmmmmm!” Her last exultation is cut off of she starts spasming around you as you release into her.

You hold her for a while, remembering the familiar scent and feel of her dark brown hair and the heat of her caramel skin. You were looking to take a little payback by humiliating her or stringing her along, but you have to admit that this was nice too.

You leave Layleen after convincing her that you both need to gather your supplies if you are to leave the next day. You don’t particular want to see where Layleen is shacking up so you part ways and head back to the inn. You wonder if Clara will be happy or just surprised that Layleen will be traveling with you again, and if you’ll be able to tell either way. You’re sure you’ll have fun balancing Roana and Layleen’s rather different viewpoints, but you already have a few interesting ideas in mind, thanks to the Eye. After all, what’s an adventure without a little spice?
