The choice of the victim

I had considered a number of punishments for the trio. Corporal punishment featured heavily. Spanking, paddling, flogging. Not in a sexy way, well, mostly, but just because it would hurt, and they deserved to hurt. I thought about a few medieval punishments too, along the lines of racks, iron maidens (not the band), and pillories.

Eventually, I decided not to lock myself into one punishment. The punishment for bullying in Winslow High is up to the discretion of the bullied.

The principal blinked as the new rule set in. "Of course. It's only fair. I will inform the faculty. Now, unless you have any other matters to discuss, I believe we are done."

I nodded in agreement, and for once I was looking forward to something besides the end of the school day.

My first class was computer studies with Mrs. Knott. It was usually my favorite class because none of my bullies were there, but right now I was itching to get back at them. I followed them with my mind's eye, watching ... waiting.

Second period was my first confrontation.
