Holy items seem like the best answer to demons.

As you run out into the mall with Amanda and Megan, you recall that there should be a Christian book store not too far from your current location. Perhaps you can get some sort of holy items to protect yourself with there.

"Come on, this way!" you call out to the two girls following you as you take off in the direction you think you remember the Christian book store being at. Around you, you notice the scattered mall patrons either fleeing or staring at you in confusion. No doubt they saw the commotion caused by the naked sex demon storming through just moments earlier.

The three of you manage to get a decent head start before hearing an inhuman roar of rage behind you, telling you that Amanda's incubus father has recovered from the blow to the head you gave him.

You run for your life, faster than you've ever run in your life. Behind you, you can hear screams and the sporadic popping of a single handgun; perhaps a cop or security guard responding to the chaos caused by the demon bursting through the mall. You're under no illusions that they'll be able to take down the demon, but maybe they'll buy you some time.

Thankfully, your memory of the mall layout was spot on, and you see the tasteful, Hallmark-like storefront of the Christian book store ahead of you. The three of you burst through the front door, startling the young woman at the sales counter. She's a teen about Megan's age, with soft gentle features and mousy brown hair done up in a bun; relatively conservatively dressed, but not so much so as to stand out as unusual.

"Quickly!" you yell out urgently, "I need holy stuff! Holy water, crosses, that sort of thing!"

The teen just stares at you in confusion, mouth opening and closing uncertainly. You gaze quickly passes from her to the sales counter, where you notice small bottles of holy water neatly arranged on a small wooden rack next to the register. Grabbing the rack, you quickly hand out bottles to Amanda and Megan.

"Here, sprinkle this on the doorway and on the windows!" you tell them, popping open a bottle and splashing the contents across the doorway. Amanda and Megan follow suit, splashing holy water all along the large front display windows.

Rushing back deeper into the store to look for other holy items to arm yourself with, you hear a scream of sheer terror from the sales clerk. Spinning around, you see Amanda's incubus father striding down the hall outside towards you. As the demon draws close to the entrance, you heft a bottle of holy water in your hand and throw it as hard as possible at him.

The thick glass bottle bounces harmlessly off the incubus' muscular chest, but does shatter upon hitting the hard floor, creating a puddle of holy water. The foul demon instinctively backs off from the small puddle in front of him.

As the demon falls back, Amanda and Megan retreat further into the store, in the process managing to grab a few wooden crosses from a display case. Meanwhile, the young store clerk shakes herself out of her stupor and grabs a jar of salt from a counter. She quickly uses the salt to pour a thick white line across the front doorway, then along the large front display windows.

Recovering from the warding effect of the holy water, the demon cautiously steps around the puddle before letting out a bone-chilling roar and charging at the entrance to the book store. However, he stops short just before crossing the threshold, growling in confusion and frustration. Sidestepping to the large front glass display, he draws back a fist to smash through it, but halfway through the blow once again seems to freeze almost involuntarily. The salt and holy water seem to be having their intended effect, providing you with a temporarily sanctuary from the demon's attack.

His face twisted in frustration, the incubus lets out a final howl of demonic rage before turning his gaze directly upon his two daughters. "I'll be back for you two bitches later," he growls menacingly, before turning around and stalking off back into the mall, no doubt in search of more easy prey.

The young store clerk stares in confusion at the demonic creature as it disappears from sight. With a look of fear on her face, she turns to you and asks "Was... was that a demon?"

"Yeah," is all you can say, letting out an exhausted sigh.

Megan breaks down in tears, and Amanda wraps her arms around her sister to comfort her.

Answering the store clerk's questioning gaze, you try to tell her what you know. "These things, they've got some sort of supernatural STD. Anyone they sleep with turns into one of them, lose their humanity, becoming another pure evil sex demon."

Motioning to Amanda and Megan, you explain sadly "That thing, it used to be their father. Now, it's a soulless beast, all it wants to do is take them, have sex with them, make them just like it. They got my girlfriend too, now she's just another one of them."

Realizing you haven't given her your name, you introduce yourself to the clerk. "And this is Amanda, and Megan."

Still shaking off her shock and disbelief, the clerk takes a few moments to compose herself before introducing herself. "I'm Kate. Um... Kate Mars."

Kate stares nervously out into the mall. In the distance, you can hear more screams.

"So, what are we supposed to do now?" she asks with dread.
