Poke your head out and have a look

Unbuckling your seat belt, you slide the window all the way open and lean out as far as you can manage. From this uncomfortable vantage point, you can finally see something of what's going on up ahead. A small car has mounted the pavement and spun sideways across both lanes. People are standing around, including a shapely blonde who's fully naked, with her hands on her head. While you watch, a few spectators get behind the crashed car to push it and the blonde runs to add her shoulder to the effort. Soon, the car is shoved around the corner into a side street and everybody else gets moving again.

You settle back into your seat, but continue looking out of the window and by chance, the taxi has to come to another brief halt at the junction, waiting for the opportunity to turn across the flow of oncoming traffic, so you have a moment to see events unfolding. The nude woman is standing with her hands on the wall, a youngish man thrashing her with a bunched up belt. He's lashing her wildly across her back, thighs and buttocks and whilst you look, he aims one blow up between her legs, causing her slender thighs to snap smartly together and her knees to buckle briefly. You purse your lips disapprovingly; such lack of control wouldn't be tolerated in the college, that's for sure.

The girl continues to twist and writhe, bucking away from the belt with every swing, her cries easily audible over the traffic. The bloke's not demonstrating much in the way of skill or self control, striking with the edge of the belt as often as the flat and leaving red welts and abrasions on his subject's flesh, but that's hardly an excuse. Behind them, a middle-aged couple stand looking forlornly at the car which lists to the side, the front offside tyre clearly burst by its contact with the kerb, although you notice the husband casting surreptitious glances at the chastisement occurring a few paces away and the wife looking daggers at him whenever his gaze shifts to the attractive young lady whose clothes are piled neatly at her feet. The car bears the logo of a large rental chain that operates out of the international airport and both husband and wife are slightly overweight, so they're probably not locals. You wonder idly how they'll react if the tipping is sexual in nature.

"Typical tourists," the taxi driver can't resist commenting as he swings the cab round and sets off on the final leg of your journey. "They shouldn't be allowed behind the wheel if they can't keep their eyes on the road when they drive past a bit of street discipline. You'd think they'd never seen a spanking before…" He goes on, not waiting for you to reply and it's a relief when you arrive at your destination not long after.
