You’re at home.

Julie, your crush, isn’t at the center of your life as if you’re some flimsy character from a tv show or young adult novel, but she’s important enough that your mind connects her with the book. In your everyday mundane life, you’re the type to be too nervous to ask a girl out. Fortunate, then, that the book is an escape from mundanity.

Simply writing her being your girlfriend into a rule would be boring. You picture yourself winning her affections by saving her from an as-yet-undetermined harm. On top of that, you want your rules to include everyone rather than apply to only you and Julie specifically.

The inspiration as to how you can attain the first goal just isn’t coming to you for now, so you shelve it and focus on the second.

Old rule: On average, a woman’s libido is extremely high. Her body is also extremely sensitive to pleasurable stimuli. This is mostly true of her erogenous zones, whatever those may be for the particular woman, but more broadly any part of her body being caressed by another person will result in arousal.

You’re a little worried about the inexactness of “extremely high” and what the rule book will consider that to mean, but you’re too excited to think of a better way to word your rule. Besides, it’ll be interesting to see what happens.

You hear the door to the front door to house open followed by familiar footsteps: your sister, Robin, coming home her last class at the local college. She seemed a little more harried than usual. You hear her door slam shut, and minute later there’s a buzzing sound followed by a low moaning.

Your eyes nearly bug out of your head. It occurs to you that because your rule included the wording “the average woman”, some women must be higher or lower than “extremely high” on the libido spectrum. You wonder where your sister falls.
