Arrive

You sit bored and impatient during the 4 hour car trip to the cabin, surfing on various social media on your phone until the signal inevitably cut out as you officially enter the part of the state that’s miles away from any sort of civilization, hick country indeed.

You grumble and toss the phone to the side. Staring blankly out the window as you wait to arrive at the cabin. During the last portion of the trip you get a couple of other ideas for rules you can write, but decide that you will wait to see the fruits of your previous labor before making any other changes.

After far too long, you arrive at the cabin and your father pulls the car over to a spot where it can sit for the weekend. As you all get out your Cousins Susan and Tyler come rushing out of the cabin, evidently waiting for your arrival. “Robin! Micheal! Finally you’re here!” Susan cries happily as she gives both of you hugs, and you try not to react too obviously to the outfit Susan is wearing, one much like your sisters, designed to be easily and quickly removed upon reaching the water. Tyler steps up and hugs Robin before giving you a slap on the back with a grin “So, should we hit the lake?” He asks “Susan has been waiting by the window all morning for you guys.”

Susan blushes, and glares at Tyler as your mom chuckles “Go ahead you two, we’ll bring your stuff in and put them in your usual room.” Your cousins smile at this as Tyler turns to you two with a grin “Come on! Last one in does the dishes!” He shouts as he starts running, the three of you hot on his heels
