The heavens have a plan

The white-haired seraph gestures nods at your rescuer as you sit. "I'm sure the four humans with us have many questions. Unfortunately, I can tell you very little now; time is precious." His expression is determined, yet somber. "Lilith is attempting to put humanity under her thrall. Mankind deserves better than this; it deserves love and freedom."

Seeing the terrified faces of you and the three human girls seated at the table, he pauses.

"Do not fear, my children. There is always hope, even for those who have been tainted. While their bodies and souls have been lost, these victims of Lilith were not always depraved. We do not have much time, but the twelve of us can defeat Lilith." Having said this, the seraph pulls a map from his robe.

You lean forward and see intricate runes drawn across the surface in a maze-like pattern.

"This map will lead us to the key to Lilith's defeat: the Purestone. Like its name suggests, only the 'Purest One', or one chosen can touch the stone. All seraphs are chosen, and so will it be with you four. Lilith has sealed the chamber that houses the Purestone with her power; only a mortal of pure heart can enter. Once the stone is retrieved, the Bearer and those he or she touches are freed from corruption."

"We can cure the world," the lead seraph proclaims, looking directly at you.
