You decided to turn in early to get a jump on the next day. You lost a lot of time after what happened with Blue so you wanted to make up for it by setting off earlier than usual in the morning, you could even get ahead of some male trainers which would give a much smaller risk factor.

You didn’t wear much to sleep in, just a tank top and some shorts, so you didn’t take long to get ready for bed.

You’d just taken your hair from its ponytail when you heard a commotion from outside.

You ran to the window and opened the curtains, only to be nearly blinded by a bright flash of light. You rubbed your eyes before peering out again. It was a Mareep? Who’s out at this time? You decided to head out to see what was going on.

You shivered as you stepped out of the Pokemon Centre. You hadn’t bothered getting changed and just threw on a jacket not thinking that it’d be this cold. You headed over to where you saw the Mareep and saw the Pokemon surrounded by about five Zubat.

“Mareep, use thundershock” a female voice called out. Again, the area lit up as Mareep let out another blast of electricity. The swarm of Zubat dropped.

“That was great Mareep!”

You turned to see the source of the voice jogging over. She was blonde and was wearing a brown wool cardigan, that looked to be holding a massive pair, a black miniskirt. She seemed to be our age!

“Hey!” You wave awkwardly to the girl.

“Hi!” She chirped brightly, “I’m Emilia!”

You rubbed your eyes, usually you’d be excited to meet someone the upbeat but not this late at night.

“I-I’m Amber” you groggily stuttered. “M-mind if I ask what you’re doing out so late, I know it’s not really my business but my room’s just there so-”

“Oh!” the blonde exclaimed, “I’m soo sorry about that! I have trouble sleeping so I go out to train and I totally forget that people are trying to sleep! I’m so totally sorry!”

“I-it’s fine” you say, rubbing your eyes again. “Just, maybe lose less bright attacks?”

“Yeah! Of course!” she smiles.

“Thanks” you grin, finding her energy contagious. “So, how long have you been travelling anyway?”

“Not too long” she grinned, “I just set out about a week ago from Cinnebar with this little guy” she said scooping up Mareep.

“How’d you manage to come across a Mareep in Cinnebar?” you asked, quite curious.

“Oh! My cousin in Jhoto has a farm, he sent me one over to start me off, he said starting with something different might give me an edge.” She explained.

“Makes sense, but how are you planning on getting through the Pewter City Gym with an electric type?” You questioned.

“Well… um, I’m gonna cross that bridge when I get to it” Emilia beamed.

You supposed it wasn’t really your issue. “Anyway, I’m gonna head back to bed” you smiled.

“Nice to meet you!” she said incredibly brightly, “I’ll try to make less of a disturbance.

“Thanks” you weakly smile as you turn and walk away. _She’s certainly interesting_ you thought to yourself.

You awoke the next morning no worse for wear after your strange midnight encounter. You checked the time.

5AM!!!

_Score_ you thought with a fist pump. Everyone usually gets up at seven or eight so you’re hours ahead of everyone! You dove to your feet and quickly showered before getting dressed. You lost a lot of time yesterday and you’re on track to make it up.

She sprinted out of the Centre and up to Viridian Forest. No one in sight! That means no one to avoid which means getting to Pewter City should be a piece of cake.

Or so you thought…

You raced into Viridian Forest thinking it would be a breeze.

And after about ten minutes of running you had made amazing progress!

Wait, hadn’t you seen that tree before?

You were lost.

You stumbled around for about half an hour trying to get through but you kept winding up back where you started.

You decided to take a second to regroup and sat on a tree stump.

You pulled out your phone and noticed that you had 12 messages… From Blue.

Since you had nothing better to do you decided to check them out. The first one was a picture of his dick with the caption “Missing me?”.

“He’s all class” you muttered to yourself. You scrolled through the rest of the messages. Each one was a five to ten second video of him with a different girl, sometimes he’s fucking them, sometimes it’s a blowjob (Though they all seem to be more like facefucks) and one or two of them featured anal. The last one however was different. It was a picture of Blue with his shit-eating grin holding the Boulder Badge.

The fucker had already beaten a gym leader.

You stood up with renewed vigour. You weren’t going to sit here while Blue got further and further ahead of you.

You ran back into the wilderness, determined that this will be the time you get to Pewter City!

Another hour passed. You didn’t see that tree anymore so that’s a bonus! But now you seem to be repeatedly coming across the same bush.

“Dammit!” You yelled at the top of your voice, a flock of Pidgies flying from a nearby tree.
