Reconnaissance

Through your "intimate" connection with Carl, you have acquired a great deal of knowledge about your surroundings. You are in Camp Isaiah, in honor of the Old Testament prophet who first told of your great mistress, Lilith. It is the base camp for maintaining the quarantine and investigating the spread of the Lilith Strain.

Most of the personnel are there to support something called the Omega ****. A team of elite commandos and researchers within the Special Operations Command, formed to confront threats of biological terrorism. The Omegas arrived about 3 days ago. There were six members at that time. The group is led by Lt. Commander Jonathan Reyes, a Marine who as an elite commando stood out in a group of elite commandos. For the rest of the team, three had been drawn from special forces units. Master Chief, Angel Martinez , a Navy Seal, along with Captain Walsh and Lieutenant McKee (who you'd already run into). Clinton Henry was a biologist. Dr. Sandy Lucas was a medical doctor, and Mary Pearl was a computer and communications expert. Scuttlebutt around the base was that Clint and Sandy had already switched sides after getting too close to one of their research subjects, a Dr. Samantha Belding .

Shortly after their arrival, the Omegas had led an **** on a demon's stronghold within the city. This 'Lord Alexander' was strong, you could feel him as the one who had sired the one who had sired the one who had sired .... the one who had sired you. Yet, by Lilith's grace, you did not feel begotten to him now. Only time would tell if he would be a rival or an ally, but he would not be your master.

Suddenly, there's a flurry of activity, a group of about 20 soldiers is assembled in front of a fleet of Humvees. Thank's to Carl's memories, you recognize Reyes talking to Martinez and Ms. Pearl.

"The researchers in the hot zone have come up with a treatment that looks promising," Reyes shouts.

"A cure?" Martinez asks.

"Not sure, but maybe."

Reyes turns to Mary and says, "Get that TV reporter to meet use there with a crew so we can get the word to the residents ASAP."

"Stokey?" Mary asks.

"Yeah," Reyes replies, "that's the one, Barbara, wasn't it?"

Reyes and his companions climb into the lead Humvee and the convoy speeds away.

There's still time to hop into one of the trailing vehicles to look into this 'cure', but the recently arrived men from Rome also pose a threat, or you could take care of Deb while most of the Omegas are occupied elsewhere....
