Let's split up, gang!

"Oh man, oh man! This is fucked up! This is so fucked up!" Megan cries out, pacing back and forth, still in shock at what has occurred.

Suddenly, she pauses in realization. "Shit! I gotta go warn my friends. I can't just leave them here while this shit goes down!"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" You call out. "We can't just all go running off. We need to stick together and get out of this mess."

Amanda looks like she's about to agree with you, when her cell phone starts to ring. As she answers in, her eyes go wide and she is quickly lost in an urgent conversation with whoever's on the other end.

Amanda is on the phone for a couple minutes, during which time you do your best to fill in Megan on what you know about what's going on.

When Amanda finally hangs up her phone, she looks up at you and states, "That was my boyfriend, Derek. He just found out what's happening and wanted to know where I am and if I'm OK. He's in the mall right now with a couple of his friends, they took the bus here and need a ride to escape! I gotta go and meet up with them!"

"Like I said, I gotta go get my friends too!" Megan interrupts.

"Wait! Just wait a minute! I need a moment to think. It's dangerous, we can't all just split up!" You shout out.

Suddenly, Megan dashes into the antiques store. After a few moments, she comes back out carrying a glass-and-velvet display box with an ornate, engraved silver antique Wild West-style revolver and a dozen bullets neatly lined up next to it.

Megan opens the display case and starts loading the revolver. "Saw this inside while you were busy fighting my... that thing. Price tag was more than what I make in a couple of months. Silver bullets. Silver hurts monsters, right? I mean, look at your sword."

"Wait, do you even know how to use that thing?" You ask the teen, somewhat incredulously.

"I've shot some tin cans with my friends a couple of times. And I've seen plenty of cowboy movies on TV." Megan states confidently, flipping the revolver closed and giving the cylinder a spin.

You shake your head. "I'm pretty sure that's not how that works..."

"And I've got this." Amanda declares, hefting her heavy crucifix.

You rub your forehead wearily. "Ok, ok. We'll go together..."

Amanda and Megan both shake their heads. "Look," Amanda states, "the more time we take, the more time there is for this place to be swarming with demons. It'll go much faster if me and Megan each go to get our friends and then get out of here. Look, we're all closest to the North entrance. You should get the car and meet us there with the engine running and ready to go."

"Look, I'm not sure that's a good..."

"No time!" The two girls interrupt in unison, taking off in opposite directions, leaving you standing there shaking your head.
