Depart on your crusade

After the meeting adjourns, you move over to the three human girls that were brought here. "Do any of you know what is going on?" you ask.

A short, cute blonde answers, "not really, except that the angels were very pleased you made it here okay. I'm Kaylee," she says, extending her hand.

You introduce yourself, shaking her hand.

A voice behind you interrupts your introductions, "no time for chat; the world depends on us." Turning, you see the chocolate-skinned seraph who saved your life.

"You're right," you say, the weight of the world seemingly on your shoulders, "but why am I so important?" you ask.

"Your heart is pure," the angel replies, grabbing your hand. She leads you out a door you didn't notice in the back of the room. Glancing to her other hand, you see she carries the map.

"Why do you have that? Where are we going?" You suddenly realize that you are going deeper into the cathedral.

"We are finding the Purestone. The ancient seraphim tried to hide the Purestone from Lilith within this very church, leaving only the map for their descendants to follow. Only one can make the journey into the Pure Chamber, and given our familiarity, I was chosen to lead you to it. The others will buy us time; certainly, Lilith's forces are on their way.
