Mew

You’re bent over looking under the parked truck. You stare into the eyes of the mythical pokemon Mew. Its big eyes staring back at you. Its tail swimming around under the truck. Mew grabs your phone and flies out from under the truck holding it. You feel nervous watching your phone fly through the air in Mew’s hands. While an unbelievable excitement rises within you at the sight of mythical pokemon.

You look into your bag, and grab a berry. You hold the tamato berry out to Mew. She seems interested and comes closer, you hold out your hand trying to get your phone back. Mew hands you the phone before taking the red berry from your hand. Flying around happily, she starts eating the berry, red juices squirting everywhere.

Your phone’s screen is fine. You open the camera to snap a photo of Mew. Ugh, your camera is ruined, everything is blurry and you couldn’t tell Mew apart from a Jigglypuff. You take the photo anyways. When she finishes the berry she looks back to you for more. You reach into your bag pulling out a nanab berry. Mew is pleased to get another berry.

You debate what action to take next. Should you battle? Should you try and catch it? When Mew finishes the second berry she drops the peel onto the ground. She flies in close and nuzzles her head against your cheek. You grab a pokeball from your bag, holding it out to Mew. Maybe she’ll just willingly join your team.

Mew grabs the pokeball from your hand. Looking it over she starts bouncing it around on her tail like a hacky sack. She then grabs the ball again handing it back to you. Well that didn’t work. You decide to go for it, and throw the ball at her. She flips in the air, letting the ball soar past. You hear the splash of your pokeball landing in the water. You try a couple more times leading to the same result, more pokeballs in the water.

Okay new plan. Maybe you can battle Mew and weaken her. You toss out Gloom, thinking her accuracy might be useful for hitting the elusive pokemon. Mew flies down close to Gloom, then flies over to you holding out its paws looking at your bag. You reach in pulling out another berry. What is going on? Mew grabs the razz berry from you and flies back to Gloom. She rips the berry in two before handing half to Gloom. The two pokemon feast on the berry becoming quick friends.

You let Runt out thinking perhaps she can help the situation. Mew looks to the new arrival. After flying close to Runt, Mew transforms into a Mightyena. Runt and Mew race away playing up and down the pier. You return your pokemon to their balls and hand another berry to Mew.

“HEY, KID! GET AWAY FROM MY TRUCK!” a man calls walking down the pier. You turn looking at him and when you look back at Mew, she’s flying away. You wave at your mythical friend, and she floats on her back while returning the wave.

I will be taking a little break from Pokeslut. I'm going to try and write a Halloween story. It will probably be way to ambitious to pull off in a month but I want to give it a try. And after I'm done with that (whether it's me throwing in the towel or actually finishing it) I'll be back to continue Amber's journey.
