Derek and his friends are laying low.

You and Amanda burst into O'Malley's, immediately spotting two men and a woman in their early twenties, hanging out at the bar.

"Derek!" Amanda calls out, rushing into the arms of one of the men, a boyishly handsome, athletic type with jet black, medium length hair, wearing dark slacks and a dark shirt with rolled up sleeves. Derek embraces his girlfriend, clearly glad to see her safe and still herself.

Derek's two companions are seated at the bar; the two of them seem to have taken the opportunity to raid the top shelf of the good stuff. At a time like this, you can't really blame them, you just had the idea yourself on your way over here.

The man looks like a surfer dude, with a healthy tan that contrasts against his lion-like messy tussle of blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. Like his friend, he's got boyish features and seems athletically built. He's got a bottle of Blue Label in one hand and seems to have already helped himself to almost half of it.

The woman is a tomboyish-looking Latina with raven black hair pulled into a long ponytail, with bangs hanging off to the sides. She's cute in a tough kind of way, wearing baggy camo pants and a low-cut black tank top that shows off her lithe, athletic figure and well-toned arms. Holding a bottle of top shelf vodka, unlike her male companion she at least seems to be pouring herself shots instead of drinking straight from the bottle.

Amanda introduces you to Derek and gives a brief recount of your ordeal together; the young man smiles and thanks you for saving his girlfriend and getting her through everything. He introduces you to his friends, the surfer-looking dude is Mick and the cute, tough Latina girl is Maya.

Still holding his girlfriend reassuringly, Derek tells her, "Look, Amanda, I'm sorry about your father. Are you going to be alright?"

Amanda nods sadly, "Yeah, I'll manage. Right now, I just want to make sure my sister is safe."

"Speaking of which," you interrupt the lovers, "we really should get to the car now, meet up with Megan, and get out of here before things get really crazy outside."

Amanda and Derek nod in agreement.
