Once Alex returned, Carla knew they wouldn't have long to make their getaway either with or without his BFF. Carla had no idea what Alex still saw in her but she didn't like it and the thought of them alone at any time, especially in all of this just pissed her off. After a few minutes of idle thought, she moved away from the bike and headed towards the garage.

Carla eyed the stretch garage and knew there must be an array of vehicles to choose from lurking within. At first, she saw no viable way into the structure until she wandered around the corner and saw a small window. Acting on instinct she grabbed the rim of a nearby dumpster and pushed it over to the side of the garage.

Once level with the window her eyes dart around the frame and she notices the key hanging in the lock. To her dismay Carla know this is about to get loud, holding onto the dumpster she pulls back her leg before quickly bringing it forward. The silence is suddenly shattered by the falling glass as it falls in and around her. After taking a series of calming breaths and looking warily around Olivia clambered into the garage.

As her eyes became accustomed to the darkness she ruled a light cord and quickly yanked it. There was a resounding dull click before the room was flooded with light. Olivia’s eyes widened in surprise as she eyed the four prestigious looking cars that stood idle before her.

Carla wasted no time as she wandered past the three sports cars and headed straight for the four-seater SUV. Her eyes lingered on the door for a split second before she reached for the handle and sighed as the door refused to budge. Having been to Olivia’s many times before she knew Olivia’s father kept all the keys hung up together at the back of the garage. An exasperated sigh slid from her lips as she wandered into the back of the garage.

The first thing she noticed was the blown bulb, as she stepped into the shadows. A cold chill ran down her back as she sensed she was being watched. Shrugging off the feeling Carla stepped forward and eyed the security box on the wall. On touching it the box seemed to swing open, a relieved smile crossed her lips upon seeing the clearly marked SUV key.

Without hesitation, she grabbed it and headed back to the SUV. As Carla moved forward, something brushed past her ankle as she looked down in time to see…
