After a few minutes, Adam devised his plan. Getting up from the chair, he headed to the armory and picked out a hand gun and some ammo. With that, he exited the safe house to go demon hunting. Outside, it was dark with a new moon in the sky. Looking around, Adam saw some other buildings nearby. Probably other stores, commercial businesses, or offices. There is a chance one might be hiding in one of them, he thought. Finding the nearest one, Adam cautiously moved forward, pressing himself against the wall of the store. As he approached the corner, he peeked his head out to check if it was clear. He didn't see anything, so he sprinted pass the corner, towards the other building. He didn't see anything moving as he did. The building he was going to was about four stories tall. It looked like a office building, but he didn't pay attention to the company logo on it. That didn't really matter at this point, he thought.

Once he was near, he could see that the main doors were broken down. From the shards of glass, it looked like someone was breaking into the building. Well, that's a promising sign, Adam thought as he tip-toed through the entrance, avoiding the shards of glass scattered on the floor as best he could. Inside was dark, with only the emergency exit lights on. The lobby was in disarray. The decorative plants were toppled over and the furniture looked as though it had been thrown around the place. On the tile floor, there were scraps of clothes and discarded briefcases. There were also puddles of liquid throughout the room. Adam could tell that some of it was blood, by the smell of iron, but most of it was semen and vaginal fluid.
