A sweet thing

The door opens. A girl no more than twenty grabs you by the arm and pulls you inside, fortunately breaking the line of salt across the door.

You have never seen this girl before. She is sweet and virginal. She wears a dress that covers her completely. Black framed glasses that are a little too big for her face make her look studious. Her hair is medium length and a boring brown.

From behind you a voice growls. “You shouldn’t have let her in Cel. She could have been a demon.”

You feign surprise. “Becky is that you? Thank goodness. This place is crawling with demons.”

“You. Fuck, figured you were demon bait. Me and my sister Celine were just discussing where to go.”

You are guenuinely surprised. “You two are sisters?”

“Yeah, you’d never know.”

Celine interrupts. “I still think we should head down to the university. There haven’t been any attacks there.”

Interesting. You would have expected Tiller University, full of tasty young hormonal students, to be a massive orgy by now. You wonder what is keeping your brothers and sisters at bay.

Becky frowns. “All hell is going to break loose there sooner or later. The Tres Virtuds convent on the outskirts of the city will be the safest place inside the quarantine.”
