The Hentai Simulation

This story is public and I would greatly appreciate if you considered writing your own branch for it to give some more options to the readers. Anything allowed by the Chyoa rules is allowed here as long as it fits the premise of course.

A massive asteroid was discovered, and at first everyone celebrated the quite literally huge discovery, but it was quickly calculated that it was on a collision course with Earth and would impact the planet within a year, wiping out most of its life, including humanity. Everyone panicked after the news was published, but then the saviors descended:

Aliens, much more technologically advanced than humans, with a mission to help dying civilizations save themselves from extinction, granted us storage technology so efficient that it could store and simulate a human brain on a tiny chip, as well as the tech necessary to scan and upload said brain. However, that was all their laws, prohibiting prolonged contact with alien civilizations, allowed them to do before they had to return to their homeworld.

Immediately, development of a server using the alien tech began. It had the purpose of storing every human's scanned and uploaded brain and connecting them to a powerful computer that would simulate a world for them to live in. A segment of the server would be built in every region of the world, and everyone would be uploaded to their region's server which would then be launched into space to be assembled with the other segments and the computer.

However, since the aliens only granted humans storage technology, it was quickly made clear during the server's development that a realistically 3D-rendered simulation would not be possible as it would be too much for the human tech computer to handle. Instead a number of less requiring rendering styles were picked and sent out to a worldwide vote. The clear victor of the poll was the anime style since it had become such a global phenomenon in recent years and many dreamed of getting to live in an anime world. Some weren't satisfied with only that, though…

Enter LogiCum*, a secret organization with the goal of making the simulated world run on porn logic. To accomplish this goal they, among other things, bribed programmers of the server to exaggerate and include more options in the already extensive body customizer everyone would get access to prior to their upload. These options included breast and penis sizes ranging from tiny to absolutely ginormous, options subtly catering to different fetishes such as fantasy races like elves, slimes and demons, as well as the ability to choose what genitals you want, independently of your biological sex (something you can also change in the customizer).

This wasn't enough for LogiCum, however. They also bribed and hired programmers to create an entirely separate simulation within the server, a sub-sim** if you will, that would be smaller and only populated by a few thousand people; specifically people picked because they didn't edit their bodies to the in the customizer. The sub-sim would have a fantasy theme and would have much more realistic features than the main simulation, such as permanent realistic hunger and pain settings and an absence of blocks implemented into the main simulation to prevent crimes such as . The purpose of it was to test how the human brain would cope with being placed in a world designed specifically to run on hentai logic.

During the month after the server's completion, everyone got to book an appointment to be 3D-scanned at a studio and a few days to a week later they received notifications on their phones to a page where they could view their anime 'avatar' generated from the 3D scan and get access to the customizer where they could edit it to their liking, no matter how absurd that might be, thanks to LogiCum. If they missed their appointment a random avatar would be generated based on basic information such as sex, height and skin tone. There were also some other things on the page they could do in preparation for their upload another few days to a week later at a doctor's office with a brain scanner machine.

When close to everyone was safely uploaded, a few hundred people in each region were chosen to wake up in a small demo simulation*** for that region where they would test it for a few hours before the server segments would be launched into space right on time before the asteroid impact. They all assembled with the computer in orbit and the simulation was activated.
