Talk To Lilith

Lilith actually lived right next to Finn, so after he went to his house to brush his teeth, he quickly arrived at her front door, where he knocked twice, before waiting for her to open the door. She seemed busy, as she shouted to let him know he could come in, and he was surprised to see her door unlocked, but then realized that she didn't have nothing to hide, not like Zoey or Faranne, who at any moment could be interrupted when having sex with him.

But as he walked in her house, he noticed why she couldn't answer the door, she was very focused sitting on her bed, playing videogames, without taking her eyes off it. Finn smiled at seeing her like that, and also took the opportunity to look around her nicely decorated room. It was a small home, but it has everything Lilith needed to kill boredom, it has a bookshelf next to her bed, full of books, and old comics from the ancient world, and even a few posters, and drawings on her wall. But after appreciating her decoration, Finn sat next to her on the bed, without her saying a word.

"So, how are you doing?" - Finn asked, but since Lilith was too focused on playing her adventure game, she took a while to respond. As Finn waited for her response, he stared at the game she was playing, and remembered the first time she played, it was many years ago, while exploring the forest, and collecting food, and scrap, she found a rare magical device. It was a magical console, that made it possible to play videogames, without use of energy, or electricity. It was pure magic, which was very useful, because she was able to play videogames for years, so she wouldn't get bored. And at least in the village, they didn't have electricity, or advanced resources like the cities, so her magical console was very special. Too bad she kept it for herself, sometimes borrowing to play with Finn or Itzel, although she did find it, so she was entitled to it. It was a treasure to her, like all the other things she found in the forest (like her huge catalog of magical games, and decoration for example).

"I'm good... a little bored with this game but good... what about you?" - Lilith replied, as she saved the game, and paused to talk to Finn.

"I'm okay, I guess... a little worried about some stuff but that's why I came here to talk to you and clear my mind..." - Finn said, with a frown, that made Lilith worried.

"Oh no, is everything okay? What's your problem?" - Lilith asked concerned.

"Nothing too bad... but come on, load Monster Combat, we can talk about it while I beat your ass" - Finn replied playfully, which made Lilith giggle, before changing the game to Monster Combat, she was excited to play with him, but also curious to see why he seemed upset.

"So, what's wrong?" - Lilith asked, with a sweet tone, that made Finn smile, from how cute she was, and how she cared about him as a friend.

"Well, it was a little weird how Faranne was behaving at lunch, don't you think?" - Finn asked, to which Lilith responded with a disappointed nod.

"Yea... I don't know why she gets like that... I know she has a hard time trusting new people but I hate it when she acts rude... is kinda hypnocritical of her because this is almost exactly what happened with you" - Lilith said, mildly upset, while the game loaded.

"It’s hypocritical but yes, I see what you mean" - Finn replied playfully, which made Lilith giggle, as she realized her mistake. She is not very used to saying big words, and her inferior vocabulary created an admiration for Finn, as he seemed to know a lot more words.

"But I really hope she changes her mind about her... she is a sweet girl, you know that... and the best big sister I could ever have but she needs to calm down a little... maybe because she doesn't have a boyfriend or something to make her company at night" - Lilith said, as she prepared the game, to fight with Finn, while he got a little nervous, as her comment unintentionally related to him.

"Yea, she is nice... I guess she must be going through some problems..." - Finn muttered, as he thought about Faranne, and how his problem with her might be affecting her behavior. But as Lilith didn't seem to pay attention to him, she started picking her character, although she had a hard time choosing.

"Hmm... I can never decide which one is best... I love the dark wizard but I also really want to beat you with the demon girl" - Lilith said, slightly frustrated, as she couldn't choose between her two favorite characters. And even though it seemed useless, her comment sparked some curiosity in Finn, and he decided to ask her a question, that he hoped could greatly help him, and his complicated situation.

"Huh? You can't choose between your favorite characters?" - Finn asked, to which Lilith shook her head as a response.

"Well, you have to pick one, don't you? You can't choose both" - Finn said thoughtfully.

"No... sadly I can't... I really wish I could use them both but I guess in this game I can't" - Lilith replied, with a sad frown, but as her answer made Finn a little disappointed, she suddenly continued talking.

"Is hard to choose one thing over the other... specially when they are both your favorites... I always have that problem, you know?... like sometimes, when I'm making a sandwich I can't decide what to put on it... I really like salami but I also really love ham so I spend a long time just trying to choose one over the other..." - Lilith said playfully, which made Finn laugh, as he thought she was just talking about silly, and childish things in her life, until he realized her anecdote had a greater meaning. So now that it didn't seem like a dumb thing of her to say, Finn got very curious to see where her story was heading to.

"And what happened? How did you solve your problem?" - Finn asked with curiosity, as now he really wanted an answer.

"Oh, well since I love both ham and salami I just put the two of them in my sandwich and it tastes a million times better... honestly it has probably been my greatest idea ever, and I wish I could do that with everything..." - Lilith replied innocently, not knowing that Finn was thinking that she had actually come up with the greatest idea of all time, and it might be the answer that he needed to solve his love problem.

-Does that apply to me?... Could it be possible that I could pick both Zoey and Faranne to be in my sandwich... no, there's no way that's possible... is ridiculous!... but it does sound quite fun, maybe I could make it work... I don't know... Can I love two girls at the same time?... Can I be with both of them at the same time?... I wish I could but I'm not sure... how does that work? Is it cheating?... Oh man, why am I so bad at this... Why is love so difficult to comprehend?...- Finn thought, as he couldn't believe he might have discovered the solution to his problems, from Lilith... who would have guessed?.

But as Finn stopped reflecting on his life, and love interests,Lilith wanted to just play already, so after he chose his character, and she trash talked to him, they started playing for about an hour, with predictable results, as Lilith was a master at videogames. She completely humiliated Finn, and after he accepted his first defeat, he tried to fight her again but it was a huge mistake, because it allowed her to beat his ass again.

"Alright Lilith, you beat me... again... for like the seventeenth time in a row now... it has been fun but I think I have to go..." - Finn said, with a slightly tired tone, as he stood up.

"Okay Finn... nice to talk to you, it was fun to play with you, come see me tomorrow... Maybe we can play again, and I can beat you again" - Lilith said playfully, which made Finn smile.

"Sure thing Lilith... have a nice day" - Finn replied, before leaving her house, to let her play more games alone. And now that he had fun with her, he continued thinking about an idea to solve his love problem, but as he wasn't quite sure he had all figured out, he decided to go visit Faranne, and talk things through.
