Discussion At Lunch

It turned out that Faranne called them over, so she could keep an eye on them, while she served the table. The lunch was not quite ready, and as Itzel was busy making a home for his giant crab, Finn was left alone with the four girls, something that made him a little uncomfortable, but gladly for him, they all started talking with each other, and he just heard their conversation.

"So what are you?" - Zoey asked, as she didn't get a proper introduction of Adeline. She just got to hear her name, and since she was very intrigued by her appearance, she wanted to know everything about her, and maybe get to be friends with her.

"She is a robot girl" - Lilith replied innocently, her cute voice, and childish behavior, made Adeline smile, but she still had to respond to Zoey's question.

"Yes, an android to be specific... but you seem very nice and I hope my appearance doesn't intimidate you because I think we could maybe become friends" - Adeline said playfully, which made Zoey smile.

"Yea, sounds nice... I like your style though, those lines on your face looked very good, what are they?" - Zoey asked, with a more playful tone, as it was nice meeting a new friend.

"These lines are just part of my design, there is not much use for them but i-" - Adeline tried explaining, but was interrupted by Faranne, who called them to come to the table, as the lunch was now ready. They went there without hesitation, and even though the food looked delicious, they wanted to talk more to Adeline, to get to know her better.

Lunch was a bit different, Finn felt a little distant, as he now sat next to Lilith, with Zoey sitting next to Adeline, to talk more to her, and Faranne at the host seat, he didn't feel the need to talk, and just eat his food, while the others talked. It was a little awkward, but Zoey's and Lilith's friendliness lightened up the mood.

"Mmm... this food is so tasty, well done sis" - Lilith said playfully, as she always compliments Faranne for her cooking skills, but she just continued with a serious expression, as Adeline looked at her.

"I can't eat any of this but I'm sure it takes good from how it looks" - Adeline said jokingly, getting a couple laughs from everyone, everyone except Faranne, who stared at her, with a mean expression, and seeing as now everyone had almost finished eating, she was planning on questioning her more.

"Tell us, what are you going to do? Are you going to go away after this or stay?" - Faranne asked passive aggressively, but even though her friends could tell she did not like Adeline, the android still took it lightly, and responded with a smile.

"I don't know... I'm not here to kill you and I really don't know where I could go so I guess I will be staying for a couple days" - Adeline replied playfully, and before Faranne got the chance to make a witty comment ,or continue being rude to her, Zoey stepped in, to be nice with Adeline.

"Yay! More friends!... Is nice to have you here" - Zoey said cheerfully, which caused Adeline to smile.

"Thank you, it's also nice meeting people like you" - Adeline replied, with a friendly smile, while also looking at the other people at the table, who she thought she would become friends with, even Faranne, except she didn't think the same.

"Don't think we will become friends just yet... we still don't know how you came here or what are your purposes... you said you are an android, right? Then who made you?" - Faranne said, with a judgmental tone, that came off as very rude. Everyone seemed shocked by her reaction, but seeing her act so aggressively, made Adeline respond honestly, to calm her down.

"I don't remember exactly but I think my maker created me a long time ago and sadly I haven't seen him in a while" - Adeline replied, with a slightly sad tone, as she was a little threatened by Faranne's mean behavior.

"Well that's strange, isn't it?" - Faranne said sarcastically, she usually wasn't this mean to anyone, and that's why Lilith got upset at her older sister.

"Come on... don't you remember Finn arrived here the same way she did? He appeared out of nowhere after the invasion and we took care of him, now you love him so be a little nicer to her" - Lilith said, with a raised tone, she rarely did this, but she really couldn't stand her sister acting rude, and mean to other people, even if they were strangers. After her comment, Finn blushed a little, as Adeline stared right at him, she was wondering what Lilith meant with that, and she was intrigued to hear some more of that topic. But after Faranne got lectured by her own little sister, she felt a little embarrassed, and decided to apologize.

"Is not the same... but fine, sorry" - Faranne muttered nervously, as she rarely had to apologize. Adeline smiled from her response, and even though she didn't care much about others opinions (something quite obvious, as she seemed to be an exhibitionist), she still liked seeing how Faranne seemed to change her view of her.

"So, Adeline... what can you do as an android?" - Zoey asked with curiosity, and also to try to switch the topic of conversation.

"A lot of things... It really depends, but I have a lot of abilities and tools that are very useful... nothing that interesting though" - Adeline replied casually, but her response was still interesting, to both Finn and Zoey.

"Well, I still think you look cool" - Zoey said playfully, showing her likeness to Adeline. She already thought she was cool, but after talking to her, and seeing how friendly she is, she knew they would become friends, but as she smiled at her ,Adeline just kept staring at Finn, who was staring intently at her. He had a weird familiar feeling that he couldn't figure out, and now learning that his experience was very similar to Adeline's, he wanted to see if there was a strange pattern between the two.

"Hey... so you don't remember how you arrived here but you do remember your past?" - Finn asked, with a skeptical tone, as her situation felt more than familiar to him, and it made him feel weird.

"Yep, I have limited memory... quite literally but I do remember most of my past, why?" - Adeline replied, with a smile, that didn't solve Finn's questions, and instead made him more confused.

"That's weird..." - Finn muttered, as he looked down, to try to decipher the situation. There was something going, he could feel it, but he already had enough problems in his life, so he didn't want to stress about it at this moment.

"Well, it has been a good lunch but I think we are done here, find somewhere you can stay, Adeline" - Faranne said, with a **** friendly tone, and smile, before quickly standing up, and picking up the dishes to clean them.

Everyone stood up, and started walking in different directions. Finn kept staring at Adeline, as she walked around the park, and village, while Zoey walked up to Faranne, to ask her a question, but when she noticed her, she had something to tell her as well.

"Hey, Zoey... I know you are going to become friends with that android but please keep and eye out for her, make sure she doesn't do anything bad and try to keep Finn away from her, I don't want anything to happen to my sweet boy" - Faranne said, with a slightly concerned tone, as she looked over to see what Adeline was doing, still not trusting her. She wanted to be cautious, and keep that skepticism, which has proven useful several times.

"So he's your sweet boy, huh? Now he is also my... nevermind... anyways, sure... I can do that but I also kinda need a favor, I don't know if you could help me out" - Zoey asked nervously, as she didn't want her to know that her favor involved Finn, but thankfully she didn't think much of it.

"Of course... we can talk tomorrow if you want and you can tell me everything but later, right now I want to see what this new girl does" - Faranne replied, while keeping an eye on Adeline, who continued walking around the village.

But now that lunch was over, Finn remembered he was supposed to meet with Lilith at her house, so after giving Adeline a final look, he decided to walk to Lilith's house, and talk a little, to clear his mind from the now multiple problems he was facing.
