Chapter 28 by saturdaynight saturdaynight

What was different?

Was everyone always that tall?

Lauren was a little worried, but he remembered that he was immune to curses. It should be okay. Isabelle was there checking over him. She was casting some divination magic to check over him. He was focusing on calming himself down. Fights were always like this: fast, hectic, and scary. This one was particularly scary though because of how strong the opponent was. That was the thing, any villain they fought Lauren retold the story of their fighting to the townsfolk around the country. He included the quip filled back and forth between the brave adventurers and the vile nemesis. There wasn't any in actuality, this time or any other. It was always a **** fight for life.

While Lauren was pondering things, Isabelle spoke, "There is definitely a curse on you."

This shocked Lauren. He looked around, then at Isabelle. He looked at her eye to eye. Wasn't she shorter than him? Temerity spoke, "Weird. I can't remember the last time any of us were cursed."

Ilya cleared her throat then gestured to her bountiful curves. The group looked her over licentiously and she realized her mistake. She said, "I got cursed just today!"

Temerity nodded, "I suppose, but before that it was always an instant thing that hit us, you know? No witch curses or curses from ancient tombs."

Isabelle said, "We've always been lucky."

Lauren realized what was going on finally; he had wished that they were immune to curses but Teloron had already shown immunity to the stone. His curses probably couldn't be affected by the stone either! Wait, but Lauren had changed the trap Ilya triggered with a wish... Wait again! He changed it from a damage trigger to a curse! Of course. This was bad.

Isabelle finished her diagnostic. She looked down at Lauren, "You are definitely cursed alright. I didn't prepare magic for that today and this looks too strong to fix without some special components."

Of course.

Lauren asked, "What is the curse doing?"

Isabelle gestured for Lauren to look down at himself. He did so, but it wasn't until Temerity came over that he realized. Temerity was the shortest person in the party. Lauren was now the same height as her. In fact, as he was watching he saw her become taller than him.

"I'm getting smaller."

Isabelle nodded sympathetically.

Temerity tried to reassure him, "It's okay Lauren. Being short isn't that bad. You can still get chicks. I'm sure any of us will gladly still fuck you."

Lauren remembered again how far he had skewed Temerity's priorities. As he looked over everyone but Ilya nodding, he realized again that he made the party a bunch of perverts.

Isabelle tried her own hand at reassurance, "It won't be forever and it will probably make you harder to hit in a fight. I will get you and Ilya cured though."

Lauren did feel better after that, but decided to make a wish to cheer him up even more as he saw Jasper looking like a tiefling woman wearing nothing but a two leather patches as a bra and the shortest skirt Lauren had ever seen. Jasper was stretching after the fight, but only in such ways that displayed his/her assets. Lauren wished, "I wish that hat of disguise was a hat of alter self with the same restrictions."

Instantly Jasper no longer simply looked like the tiefling, but real breasts and a real rear filled the leather clothing as transmutation magic made her as she appeared. Lauren felt better.

Ilya spoke, "The drow have gathered the loot. Teloron only had necromancy magical items. I know we destroy those. There is also 10000 gold pieces here. Let's get out."

Lauren was happy at the loot. There would be a party afterward, though not as raucous as before with Vorka and Jasper being submissive drones. As they walked out, Lauren had a hard time keeping up as his short legs. He was now about the size of a halfling. He order Vorka to carry him and she dutifully placed him between her breasts. He was not expecting that, but he supposed he did wish for her to have a preference for that and did not specify how she should carry him. He wasn't complaining anyway.

They passed the singular kobold that was now the only thing alive in the dungeon and got out to see the sun. They started their walk back to town.

Does something interrupt them?
