Chapter 4 by CorpseKing CorpseKing

Who will be La's Fly?

Jane Porter, of Course

La blinked as her place had changed and memories had been added to with the wearing of the Ring of Anansi. She was in her restored bedroom room, or at least one which had not been destroyed. In fact, it had been restored beyond what she had it. She guessed, "Likely due to the legends of it being the legacy of a powerful lost land and city, with powerful magic and technology. Now all back and under my control."

It was also full of people. Not only her leopardmen, but also animal-people of all types as well as Waziri tribesmen. The same tribe she had been banished from in her last life. Memories emerged as she remembered the fact the animal people she created were all birthed with perfect loyalty to her, as did the Waziri who worshipped her as their immortal Queen and Avatar of their Goddess. She had people who were completely loyal and would do anything for her no matter what... as if by magic. And La had to admit the former chief made a good royal advisor, and his son wasn't bad either. If she hadn't wanted something else, she might have taken him. But she knew there was better.

Which was when better and the thing she had been desiring for a long time walked into the room. He was every inch as handsome and powerful as she remembered. Wild brown hair, tanned skin, muscles where a woman wanted them. The difference was in the loincloth. With Jane, it had been a brown simple skin or cloth. Now it was black as night, with leopard or other big cat fangs on them... like her clothing. He smiled as he saw her, a loving lust in his eyes but also a darker harder edge which made her moist. He seemed to purr her name while making his words seem to drip with musk, "La."

La decided to see if she could enjoy her dream life, even as she was sure Jane was not enjoying the life she had. Because while she couldn't alter Jane... Jane's life, was another matter.

Meanwhile...

Jane couldn't figure out why she was in England again. Or the fact she and her father were low paid servants of a country estate. Her father was working under the groundskeeper, keeping the machinery working. She was working as a junior maid, in a black and white outfit which was fortunately modest. No one seemed to think anything was odd, from what little she could get without looking crazy. From all points of view, the now poor family had been working for years on the Viscount of Greystokes' Estate.

What happens with La and Tarzan? How can Jane stop La?
