Emma's best friend Sophia is pregnant

"I just give them to her each morning when we meet up for coffee. Well, it used to be coffee, but now she's just on the smoothies. Now that she's pregnant she says the smoothies are even more important - nutrients for the baby and all."

"Wait, since when is Sophia pregnant?" This was all news to you.

"Baby, you never listen to me! She's like four months pregnant. It totally sucks because she's never going to be fun anymore. I swear I've told you this many times." The apologetic girlfriend didn't last - Emma is already back at being annoyed at you.

You ask who the dad is, and Emma just groans with frustration. "She doesn't know! I told you this before too. She got real slutty and slept with a bunch of guys and has no ideas which one knocked her up."

"But Sophia's always been a prude."

"Yeah, I don't know what got into her - some quarter-life crisis bullshit or something. She's my best friend and she'll never want to hang out anymore. Ugh."
