But her life had been cut short, by a plane crash. Shannon and lost her mother at 17 at and the loss had made the girl quiet and withdrawn. She still got excellent grades, but had become shy and withdrawn from her social circle. The 29 year old widower was brilliant and driven to make the company grow to insure his daughters future. Jessy as his PA spent long hours at the office working on projects and presentation with her handsome, wealthy boss. Then they started taking trip together to visit remote sites and sign contracts; and he quickly learned that the buxom blonde beauty knew exactly what she was doing when she let others think she was eye candy and a bimbo. A lesson that had cost several of his competitors a lot of money when they wrote off the blonde as nothing but a bimbo only to find out that she caught things in the contract, that would have cost him control of the project, and a huge percentage of the profits, that he nearly signed, before she quietly pointed it out to him. As well as the fact that during the negotiations for a mining concession, his competition was so busy trying to look down her blouse that he signed away an additional 30% of the profits for a deal that Veritech was prepared to go into on a 50/50 profit split that ended up being a 80%/20% split in Veritech's favor. Carl and been, a bit offended at his partners behavior; but Jessy assured him she was not only used to it; but thought the extra 30% might teach him to focus on the business at hand, and not the contents of female employees bra. The trips had lead to dinners and lunches together, which eventually lead to a couple dates which had led to Jessy accompanying Carl to a Yacht where he was vacationing with his daughter. He wanted to see how the two got along. Not long after Carl asked her to move in with them and they then talked about getting married in the spring or summer. Luckily Jessy got along with Shannon and the two being closer in age, let them share interests in music and fashion when one day on the Yacht they got caught in squalls with torrential rain, so while he was dealing with issues at a new factory they were building, and didn't need Jessy, the girls decided to go down to cabin to talk about clothes and fashion. Shannon seemed to be coming out her shell and opening up to Jessy who try gently to get the girl to trust her. Shannon finally admitted that she was having issues with era growing sexuality and was uncomfortable changing her style for her early teen to her newly filled out curves and wasn't comfortable putting on the stylish bikini's that she wore; as well as how comfortable she seemed to be with her body after Jessy and her dad had talked about the Mining deal that had cost his partners 30% of the profits because the fool was looking down Jessy's blouse. She pointed out that unless you on a beach in the south of France, the Micro thong is a no go. For a girl in as good a shape as Shannon she pointed out that she could get away with a Sling bikini, while she being so buxom, needed to buy more bikini separates, because otherwise if the top fit the bottoms would fall off and if the bottoms fit the top would never contain her breasts. The discussion end when Shannon selected one of Jessy's smaller bikini's and the blonde showed her to fit it and adjust it to fit her figure perfectly. Shannon seemed to be more comfortable and then talked about doing some shopping. As the duo spent more time together, Shannon asked Jessy to try on a pair fo jeans, give her opinion of a pair of cut-offs jeans in case she'd cut them, too short and even borrowed a couple of Jessy's skirts which looked good on the teenager.

The little girls childhood was filled with all things that a little girl’s life shouldn’t have, void of the love she needed, and filled with things that would shape the girls interests in her future. She needed more than anything in life, someone to trust who would be there for her through her darkest hours and lightest moments, someone to pick her up in times of need and hold her in times of care. At an age parallel to the girls, is a boy who resorted to a life of crime at a young age in order to survive the harsh conditions of the world in which he lived. Growing up in the dark streets of New Orleans, one was met with the cold reality that the possibility of achieving anything in life was a distant hope. His childhood, spent on the streets, nights of wondering what he would have to do to find a hospitable bed, him to learn to adapt to whatever struggles he faced. This adaptability would prove key to his survival through his young life. At the age of 10, he was in and out of jail, but not by means of the legal system, he was skillful at going unnoticed and would deliver into the parishes’ prison just to be able to call himself a part of something that could give his life meaning. This life of his was filled with atrocities and madness, but one person did keep his life above the norm, a girl. They met at a young age, a time when they were both impressionable and seeking something more for themselves. When they met, they were inseparable, both learning what it was like to have someone care for you the way it was supposed to be, but their relationship would not grow past the point of two best friends willing to do anything for each other. As time elapsed, his past of crime came to an end, he found new outlets in life to focus his skills. He went back to school and excelled at science while she focused on the arts. Though their personalities grew together, there were things, intimate things, which they did not know about each other. Having an open relationship, free of judgement and insecurities was what made them so bonded. They knew that there was always someone to hear when they call and lend a hand when needed. But their childhoods could not be escaped, the lives they lived affected them in ways that they had not yet been able to discuss with anyone. The intimacies that they felt left them feeling needed, but that need fueled a never ending desire to reach a state of sexual euphoria. Being young adults, incapable of enacting the things that they yearned for, they were confined to their minds. The fantasies that took over them were vivid, filled with a deep urge to find satisfaction. Subconsciously, the girls’ childhood, the one she experienced before the adoption, became pronounced in her imagination, and her focus on her artistic abilities made her ability to visual things all but reality. She would have flashbacks, back to a time when her life was filled with combat, these flashbacks became and theme of her desire that she could not escape. Her mind was not alone though, for the one person in life she valued more than anything, her best friend, was burdened with the same desires as she. His mind controlled by the constant need to survive that he had felt for so long, and the love that he never felt was a key to his heart. He would spend the nights he had wondering what it was like to have more in life… more than the money and knowledge that he had made, more than the people he has overpassed, he wanted nothing more than to experience the touch of another that felt as he did. His mind riddled with aspirations of lust and love, desires to please a person with his body in a way that could bring his life to fruition. As they aged, into their adulthood, free of school and the parental structure that dictated their every move, they moved onto lives that could classify as normal. But there friendship remained, and although they have spent years apart, separated by narrow highways and lovers passed, they still held onto the relationship that saved their lives and pushed them towards the people they had become. There desires however, locked away, silently repressed in their bodies and souls, until time allows them to understand what love truly is and they realize the person that they’ve needed more than anything in life is the person that is meant to hold them strong through the rest of life, unbiased, and uncontrollable love that would never wilt. The friends, now adults, would by some chance of fate, be reunited, no longer left alone with no one to understand the struggles that they endured in their youth. The chance to finally live in the same town with someone whom they shared so much of themselves with would give them hope that there could still be happiness in life. The first night living back in the same town called for an evening of friendship, doing things that they loved and rejuvenating the friendship that is a vital part of who they are.

Perils of a Novice Superheroine by fyreant
Acropolis City, the center of super-human and caped crusader activity in this particular world - with its own dizzying highs and lows, high-tech skylines and slums standing in stark, four-color contrast, it provided everything that a costumed megalomaniac or masked vigilante could ask for. In fact, as is usually the case where colorful masked characters are the norm, it has become something of an institution by this point. But although the mere existence of costumed heroes and villains no longer shocks people, these people - who, by their very nature, thrive on attention - keep finding new ways to stand out from the crowd and attract the eye. This last goal tends to get a lot of emphasis in the most simple, sexualized way possible. For reasons that the world's most brilliant scientists have yet to explain, latent super-abilities seem to manifest more often in women than men by a ratio of 3 to 1 or more. This is true even when the superpower isn't "natural"; paranormal artifacts fall into their hands, esoteric martial arts schools never seem to have a male heir, the technological prototypes they test always seem to be the ones that are most easily used or abused for good and evil. Unfortunately, the glory days of the past where citizens were happy to see any old masked do-gooder show up are over - in recent years, Acropolis City has established a ranking system of heroes where those who get high marks from the citizens and resolve incidents are rewarded with corporate sponsorships and (most coveted of all) seats at the prestigious League of Propriety. Those who intimidate the populace, cause excessive collateral damage, or simply don't excite anyone, garnering low rankings, get 'asked' to move to less prestigious cities. Few superheroes want to get stuck battling clans of villainous hillbillies and corrupt small-town sheriffs for the rest of their careers, so they're always eager to please the influential citizens of Acropolis City (judges, eminent scientists, first responders, and of course the all-important reporters). On the other side of the law, a similar dynamic predominates; only the most glamorous and charismatic costumed ne'er-do-wells can make it in this town. And so, the novice superheroines just learning the ways of battling for justice and order, without any team to back them up, always end up patrolling the skeeviest, most undesirable slums of the city and taking on the most thankless rescues. As if that weren't bad enough, most of them feel obliged to dress in ways that get more outlandish and revealing with every passing year while they fight the good fight and/or feed their craving for attention, depending on how you see the 'cape life'. As if that weren't troublesome enough, the superhuman mutations that make so many of these heroes' careers possible also result in greatly increased sexual sensitivity, particularly in females. The adventures and misadventures that these spandex-clad lady crusaders get into are often too hot to print for the kind of comics that their young admirers would read. Messy mistakes will be made, but you don't want to disappoint your readers, do you? So let the League know what kind of superheroine you are, your chosen name, powers, and appearance, and they'll send you out on your first patrols. Good luck.

Wolfgang Storm is a 38-year-old sports writer and former digital editor who has been on and off the streets for the last four years after burning his professional bridges. During those four years, Wolf, as he is better known among colleagues and peers, ekes out an unstable existence as a freelance writer, which often sees him languishing on the streets of Johannesburg for weeks at a time, living among hoodlums and addicts. On a cold and miserable evening in mid-July, a curious addict strikes up a conversation with Wolf, in which he tries to solve the mystery of what an apparently clean, articulate, and honest individual is doing on the streets of Johannesburg. Wolf, who has always been a loner, reluctantly entertains the conversation before doing some soul-searching of his own, reflecting on what many might actually deem a life well lived and trying to figure out why he finds himself in this current predicament. As Wolf gets lost in his thoughts, he zones in on his fraught relations with women, an aspect of his life that has troubled him more than any of the circumstances he currently faces on the streets. Narrating in the first person, Wolf takes readers on a retrospective journey of his life with women. A 21-year-old Wolf's journey starts in Cape Town, where he gives in to his urges and solicits the services of a street prostitute (who he only remembers as the Lady in the Red Shoes) for the first time, after weeks of agonizing about it. The moment is an instantly regrettable one, not least because Wolf does not feel he gets a meaningful return on his investment. In an attempt to put the whole encounter behind him, Wolf subsequently pursues more conventional courting methods but quickly discovers that dating is beyond him, partly because women don't find him that interesting but primarily because he does not possess the pluck required to pursue a woman. The chase is just too daunting for the ironically named Wolf. For professional reasons, Wolf returns to his hometown, where he becomes somewhat of a celebrity, working as a municipal reporter for the local newspaper, which in turn helps him land his first-ever girlfriend purely by accident. Stacy is a bisexual woman who works at the local municipality and has always been a fan of Wolf's municipal coverage. Being sexually liberated and adventurous, Stacy introduces Wolf to a world and life that he could never have imagined. However, the two lovebirds eventually drift apart, and Wolf jumps at the first opportunity to make a Cape Town return. In a bid to explore more of the city, Wolf unwittingly finds himself in a strip club for the first time, reigniting his curiosity about working women, whether they be on the streets or in licensed establishments like The Cage. While Wolf becomes a regular visitor at The Cage, he only expands on his curiosities when he attends a six-month training workshop in Johannesburg, where he makes a point of visiting numerous adult establishments in and around the city but only really settles on a place called the Honey Pot. Wolf develops a healthy relationship with two of the women who work the Honey Pot, such that he convinces himself he has actually fallen in love with one of them, Lisa. When Lisa nips his advances in the bud, Miranda becomes the rebound, and Wolf becomes her keeper. The training workshop eventually ends, and Wolf must return to Cape Town, where he sinks deeper into the city's dark underbelly and eventually settles on a well-hidden establishment called Majestique. Initially, Wolf develops an attachment with a dancer called Megan, building a relationship that expands beyond the walls of Majestique. Wolf ignores the limitations that come with this relationship, chief among them being that Megan is already spoken for, but Megan's fresh pregnancy saves him from becoming the villain in this arrangement. Due to her pregnancy, Megan is to leave the job, while a disillusioned Wolf decides to explore what else the working women of Cape Town have to offer. After investigating a string of strip clubs and brothels in Cape Town, Wolf decides that he was probably better off at the more affordable Majestique, where the rules were loose and women more sporting. When Wolf returns to Majestique, he is a bit relieved to learn that Megan has not returned and strikes up a similar relationship with Sky, who is also Megan's main rival. The change in dynamics causes massive friction when Megan does eventually return, culminating in Megan outing Sky's association with Cape Town's most violent gang. Like clockwork, a series of gang-related incidents, including a veiled threat by Sky's hitman fiancé, prompts Wolf to walk away from it all, deciding that he should never have ventured down this dark alley in the first place. Shortly after walking away, Wolf is hospitalized by an acute case of pancreatitis and put in an induced coma, where the ghosts of Sky and Megan haunt him in a series of highly imaginative but vivid hallucinations. The whole time it never occurs to him that none of this is real. In one of those hallucinations, Wolf imagines that Sky has been killed by her fiancé for her infidelity, while Wolf is hunted down for his part in the sinful act. While on the run, Wolf is aided by elements of the gang scene in Cape Town, who have their own agendas and personal scores to settle. One of those elements is gang matriarch Fatima, who also develops an attachment to Wolf. All of it feels real and is thus incredibly traumatic for Wolf, even after he awakens from his coma. If he was ever uncertain about his relations with strippers and prostitutes before, the coma experience helps settle the debate for him indefinitely. Wolf leaves this life and bumps into a potential soulmate in Amorette Bekker purely by accident, but their memorable romance is doomed by race and class dynamics. Amorette is a white South African woman of Afrikaans extraction, while Wolf is a black South African man of Zulu extraction. Finally, Wolf stumbles into a fraught relationship with a friend of a friend called Nandi, who, like Wolf, is Zulu. On the face of it, everything about this feels right and frankly overdue, but Wolf's attempts to win her over prove futile and prompt several lapses in judgment that ultimately see him out of a job and on the streets. Instead of evolving into something positive, Wolf's bias against black women turns into deep resentment, which lingers with him during a period of considerable adversity while slumming it on the streets. However, that does not wound him nearly as deeply as all the coloured and white women, with whom he shares some of his most pleasant memories, who don't even bat so much as an eyelid during his darkest hour. There is an loneliness about Wolf's homeless existence that eats away at the soul.
