Zuko

( All Characters are aged up to be at least eighteen)

Zuko was hot and exhausted, as he walked through the blasted wastelands of the Earth Kingdoms. Yesterday he saved a small village from some thugs masquerading as soldiers. He used his firebending which earned him scorn from the people of the village. He couldn't blame them, his nation had done nothing but harm to them. He sighed, maybe he didn't need to use his firebending against those thugs. To late for regrets now he thought as he continued his trek through the wastelands.

" Help !" Shouted an old and feminine voice.

Zuko rushed to see who was in danger. He soon saw a scene that made his blood boiled. Three thugs where attacking an elderly woman.

" Hand over your stuff." Said the biggest one, with a smirk.

His two friends just laughed. Zuko frown as he match towards them. The three thought beating Zuko would be easy but soon found themselves screaming as they ran away.

" Are you alright ?" Asked Zuko, as he helped the woman up.

" Yes, thank you young man." Said the elderly woman.

Zuko was about yo leave, " Might I ask how old you are ?" Asked the elderly woman.

" Nineteen." Said Zuko, the elderly woman smiled.

" Then I have a gift for you." Said the Elderly woman, as she pulled out something.

" Please, I can't any money from you." Said Zuko, the old woman just grin.

" It's not money but something far more valuable." Said the elderly woman.

Then she handed Zuko a simple silver key.

" This is the Key of Dreams, when you whisper someone's name before you go to sleep. You will appear in that person's dreams and you will have the power of them." Said The old woman, smiling.

Zuko looked at the key, he thought the woman was out in the sun to long.

" You don't believe that's fine but the key have a price. You won't get a full night sleep when you use it." Said The old woman, smiling.

Zuko looked at the old woman, then a strong gust of wind happened. Zuko had to block his eyes, then once the wind died down. Zuko saw the woman was gone, this confused Zuko. He shrugged as he thought bow he was out in the sun to long. He continued his journey, luckily he soon found an oasis. He drunk some water and ate some fruit.

He decided to spend the night here. It was almost dark, as he held the key in his hand. He really didn't believe the woman, it sounded so crazy. He sighed, as he through about selling the key at the first village he sees.

As he stared at the key, his curiosity got the better of him. He decided to give it a try. So he thought about someone's dream he would like to enter.

He wad about to fall asleep as he whispered.....
