Tim Drake

May 12th, 2020: Wayne Manor

Tim sat in his room working through some calculus. Despite already being 18, he still had a month of high school left. He could have graduated early, but wanted to take some dual credit classes from Gotham Academy. Besides, he thought to himself, I still don't know what college I want to attend. Numerous acceptance letters sat on his desk. His focus was further intensified as he wanted to finish up his assignment before his girlfriend's birthday party tonight. He'd been dating Wonder Girl for almost four years now. She was turning 18 tonight and Tim wanted to be there and celebrate with her. He was sure the night would end chastely but that was fine with him. He was in love with Cassie and was willing to wait as long as she needed.

Meanwhile, in Metropolis, Nightwing was running for his life. Dick Grayson had decided to do some undercover work after his leave of absence from the Team. He was currently in a LexCorp subsidiary and discovered a plot from Luthor that might actually allow him to conquer the world. Luthor had a cadre of scientists and programmers working on a computer program that could control reality. Dick knew he was out of time to stop it as it was apparently fully operational. He managed to delete every copy save the one on the flash drive. It was almost as if the program wouldn't let itself be deleted. This complicated things. Dick needed to get it out of the building, but security was everywhere, including after him. He ducked into a computer lab and prayed that the guards didn't see where he went. He breathed a sigh of relief when he heard their footsteps running past. Everything was dark, but Nightwing managed his way to a computer. As he booted it up and logged in with his undercover ID, he knew he was put on the clock. As quick as he could, he opened his email, attached the MPC program, and sent it to someone he could trust. The person he clicked was Tim Drake. He didn't put in any text and the header said only "here". After it sent, he deleted the copy on the flashdrive and logged out of his email. No sooner did he do that as several armed men burst into the room. Dick Grayson was captured.

Tim submitted his calculus homework on the school site and checked his email. He saw a message from Dick Grayson, the man who had been the first Robin. He hadn't heard anything from Dick on over six months. He suspected that he was undercover. He probably risked a lot sending Tim this. Tim looked at the header reading "here" and saw there was only an attachment. He clicked and downloaded the file. It immediately started installing on his computer. Tim hoped that it was a belated birthday present from the person he considered to basically be his older brother. When he clicked on the MPC icon, a screen popped up with a simple demand: Please Enter Name of User. Tim entered his own name wondering where this would go. There was a brief setup screen before a window full of tabs, sliders, and an empty 3d rendered room popped up.

Another screen popped up. It read, "Welcome to Master PC, where the Master allows you to become a virtual god to those around you. You are the Master's representative." He clicked out of that. What did Dick send him? He noticed another prompt. "Please enter subject:" He wondered what this was for. On a whim, he entered Cassandra Sandsmark, his girlfriend. Suddenly, a digital image of her in a t-pose appeared in the virtual room. She was wearing jeans and a green sweatshirt. Tim was surprised, but quickly assumed what this was. Dick had sent him some Sims like game with all his friends on it. Tim laughed as he remembered telling Dick about playing the Sims when he was younger. *It's probably super encrypted so none of our secret identities get out.* He thought to himself.

He figured since he had pulled up Cassie's file, he should check her out.
