The Bouncers

Lois had made four goons when she entered the bar—two working the front door, one hovering near the dance floor, and one within three long strides of the bar. All tall, big-shouldered, ROTC types with crew cuts and tight black t-shirts with SECURITY written in big, friendly yellow letters. Most of them looked like they wouldn't give the reporter the time of day.

But with Blaze hovering nearby—just close enough that Lois could feel the intrusion in her personal space, although the shemale was careful not to get too hands-on in public—the grunts dutifully squinted at the pictures she flashed of the missing women.

The first three were a bust. Shrugs, muttered apologies of "Sorry, get a lot of women through here." Lois was slightly impressed at the way that Blaze could put them on the spot with a word or a glare. When the shemale had looked the final bouncer in the eye and said "Are you sure?" Lois had seen the sweat break out on his face.

They're terrified of her, Lois realized. Should I be scared of her too?

The reporter laid a hand on her belly, thinking about all the semen still swimming around inside of her. She didn't feel scared while Angelica was around. If anything, she felt...safe.

"I uh, I did see those ladies," the bouncer coughed and shuffled his feet. "We had to ask 'em to leave. Haven't seen 'em back here since."

"When," Lois demanded. "why?"

The bouncer chewed his lip.

"Tell her, Lonny. You're not in trouble." Blaze offered.

Lonny took a deep breath.

"About a week back we see these four ladies...they'd been coming in, kinda regular, just college girls, right? Maybe leave with somebody else, we didn't pay any attention." He licked his lips. "I caught 'em in the alley behind the club. You know we check it every hour, scare off any kids trying to get in, that kind of thing. They were naked, and there was this chalk star on the ground..."

"Pentacle," Blaze corrected him. "Go on."

"Right. So each of them was at one point on the star, and there was...they had this skull. Like a real fucking human skull. I told 'em to clear out, and they all just turned to look at me, their eyes were glowing and...and..."

For a moment, Lois thought that Lonny had found something scarier than Angelica. Then she heard her lover's voice take on a tone of barely-suppressed fury.

"What did they do?"
