From that moment, Joseph made it his life goal to make Harley's life as great as possible to the point of putting himself in massive debt, all without laying a finger on her. However, she doesn't seem respective of this until about a year after they graduated from college. On that particular day, a mailman dropped off a letter containing his financial statement to her apartment instead of his by mistake. The moment she read it, she sprinted over to his apartment and threw it into his face. "What is the meaning of this."

"The meaning of what?" he countered with.

Causing her to shoats "I have read that. Do you realize your one more missed payment from being evicted and having your car repoed?"

He opens the latter and gives it a once-over. "Yes, I know that, and I am working very hard to make sure that doesn't happen."

She continues to scream, "How the fuck did you let this happen?"

Joseph tries to remain calm as he says "You're the reason why."

She instantly slaps him. "How dare you blame me."

Joseph brushes off the slap. "I'm sorry, but I am not blaming you; I do it because I want you to have nice things."

She groans, "yea, just so you can use me more."

Joseph "Use you; your apartment is double the size of mine and has a full kitchen when mine does not even have a stove."

She "yea, just so that you can **** me to cook for you."

Joseph quickly counters with, "When was the last time I have eaten anything that you have cook?" Both know that it was months ago, and that was just a cookie she was passing out to everyone for Halloween, so Joseph continues, "What about your car? It's double the cost of mine."

She counters with, "That because you hate driving and want me to drive you around town."

Joseph smiles. "No, I actually like to drive, but yes, you do drive me, but only when it would cost me my job to show up in my clunker. So what about your clothes?"

She "That because you like masturbating to me when I dress nice."

Joseph "That would be true if you ever dress nice around me. No, you make it a habit of not wearing any of the nice clothes I get for you around me."

Harley begins to question everything, so she thinks she knows about Joseph. "So you would want me to look nice just for my own benefit?"'

Joseph smiles at Harley. "Now you're getting it." Before looking at his watch, "Well, I have to go to work."

Harley glances at him as he walks out the door. She never paid attention to his coming and going and doesn't actually know what he does for work. Before this moment, she hated everything about him. If it wasn't for the fact that he was paying for the apartment she lived in, she would live as far away from him as possible "Wait; it's Saturday. Aren't you a banker? How many jobs do you actually have." Joseph holds up four fingers as he walks out the door.

She just sat in his apartment for the day deep in thought. After three hours, she began to explore his apartment. He only had the plates you get when you buy take-out from Chinese. In comparison, she had enough nice real plates to sit 12 people. He only had one well-used down suite in his closet while her closet was filled with new clothes, most only worn once. She quickly could see that he wasn't lying; he was dumping all his money into her. All of a sudden, she was filled with a feeling of guilt.

She realized that she couldn't live with the quilt and the odd sense of owning him something by three pm. She felt like so had to give him something, but he owned everything she had, meaning the only thing she had left to give him was her body willingly. So she stripped down and sat patiently on top of his bed.

She fully expected him to jump her and start fucking her the moment he got home, but on the contrary, he remained reserve as he let out a breath and said, "Harley, what are you doing."

Harley: "What... We are going to have sex."

Joseph groaned. "We haven't had sex since I enslaved you."

Harley: "What? You don't want to have sex. Am I not sexy enough for you? Is that it?"

Joseph continues to try to remain calm by letting out slow breaths. "No... You're the sexiest woman I know. I just don't want to **** you to have sex, and I don't want you to do this out of some odd sense of quilt about what you just realize today."

Harley Stands up and shoats "Then how can I repay you. Because I can't live with the feeling that I owe something to someone that I have hated for so long."

Joseph "You can repay me by just having the best life you can have."

Harley "And why would you want that."

Joseph "Isn't it obvious to you. You may hate me, but I like... no love you."

For some reason, Harley's heart was so overwhelmed by that statement, and she found herself with the uncontrollable urge to jump into his arms and kiss him. Before she realized it, she was doing just that.
