She is going to try and wear clothes

"Right, what do you plan on doing about...this." He gestured to my entire body.

I folded my arms and frowned, "Well technically no one can tell I'm naked now. But... it doesn't feel right going out like this if I can help it."

Though I had told dad about Dean, I had not yet mentioned to him that he could see through at least some of the stickers. Or that he was a cape. Dropping the date bomb on him last night had been enough that mentioning he was Gallant would've just been an even greater headache.

Thankfully, dad didn't ask questions. "Well, you're kind of stuck Taylor. If you get dressed now, you'll probably lose half your outfit by the time you get there."

"I know." I let out a breath, then straightened up as an idea came to me, "But wait! What if I brought my clothes with me in a purse and got changed when I arrived? At least then I might be able to make them last through the whole thing."

He smiled and nodded, "Not a bad idea. You'll probably still lose some clothes, but if you're serious about this..."

"I'll be more comfortable, I think." I insisted. There was something about Dean and how he had treated me that made me want to put genuine effort into this. Even if I was cursed, I wasn't going to give up that easily.

Upstairs I sorted through and picked out a nice but not expensive outfit. Odds were good these clothes might get destroyed, so I made sure no tears would be lost over that. I settled on a simple pair of white bra and panties, one of my few dark skirts, a dark blouse and a simple white cotton jacket. I finished it with a pair of short white socks and flats. No I didn't consider heels, I did not own heels, and as far as I was concerned, heels were the devil.

All of this I stored in an old purse of moms, a big brown monstrosity that I could easily store everything in. I didn't own any purses myself, not out of some 'I am a strong independent woman' line of thinking. Purses were easily stolen by petty bitches, and with them any money or schoolwork I had stored in them. My transition to purse use had halted in high school and I had stuck with backpacks. This was the next best thing.

My outfit decided on, I folded it up in my purse, pulled it over my shoulder, and took a deep breath to steady my nerves.
