Kate Takes the Remote From Jack

Jack raised the remote in Kate's direction, intending to use the MC function on her, but before he could, he watched as she jumped up off the couch and grabbed the remote out of his hand.

"What the fuck were you trying to do, you little shit!" she yelled. And before Jack could even try to get the remote back, Kate pressed TIME, causing time to freeze.

Jack stood frozen in time, a stunned expression on his face.

Kate walked around his frozen form and wondered what to do next. She looked down at the remote. Should she change herself in some way? She didn't want to stop being a Goth. She liked it, even though she knew she was **** to think that. But she wanted to get her fiancé back. Maybe there was some way to do it without changing her lifestyle.

Or maybe she should change Jack, to get back at him for changing her without her consent. (Of course, that would be exactly what she would be doing to him, but she saw it as payback, so in her mind, it wasn't the same thing.)
