Go swimming in the pool

It only took a few moments of conversation before the girls collectively decided to hit the pool for some aquatic fun. Jess's house had a large in-ground pool in the backyard, and more often than not, the girls had kicked off sleepovers at Jess's house by taking a dip. Indeed, Lily, Amy, and Jess had al been expecting this, as they were already wearing their bikinis underneath their clothes. The three girls quickly began stripping down, tossing their clothes in their bags.

Mackenzie hesitantly asked, "Jess? Um, I didn't bring a suit. Can I borrow one of yours?"

Mackenzie omitted the fact that she technically no longer owned any swimsuits. At least, not ones that fit her properly. She'd been blessed by generous developmental years and had... developed right out of her teenage swimsuits as a result. Buying new suits had been more complicated for her after getting banned from her local mall, so she'd resorted to buying one online. And it had fit perfectly! But it (along with an additional suit she purchased) didn't survive the trip to a nearby water park a few weeks prior. She'd recently purchased another online, but it hadn't arrived yet. And so Mackenzie had simply assumed she could rely on Jess's generosity. They were both similar sizes in most ways.

"You could always just swim naked," Amy teased, causing Mackenzie to blush.

"It's fine," Jess said with a chuckle. "Of course you can borrow one, Kenz."

As Lily and Amy headed outside, Jess opened one of her dresser drawers. She pulled out two bikinis in different colors.

"What color are we feeling today? Pink or purrrple?"

"Um," Mackenzie hesitated, noticing that both options were string-tie bikinis. She felt vastly less secure about wearing those, feeling like the knots came undone at the lightest touch for her. "Do you have any others one? That aren't... string-ties like that?"

"Oh, uh..." Jess said, looking deeper into her drawer. "I mean, not really. At least, not ones I've worn since junior-high," she chuckled. Jess pulled out a pale green bikini that simply pulled into place. Mackenzie took it and held it up to her body.

"I think it'll be fine. Thanks, Jess," the redhead said. And then she began undressing. There was once a time where Mackenzie would have been too shy to change in front of her friends. But after all the embarrassing ordeals she'd been through the past half-year (some even leaving her friends stripped naked alongside her), and being seen naked by literally hundreds of people, changing into a swimsuit in front of her best friend felt like a trivial matter.

Jess, meanwhile, noticed that the two of them were alone again. And so, she tried to take advantage of it.

"Hey, Kenz, there's something I've been wanting to talk to you about."

She'd talk with her friend about it later.

"Are you sure that bikini fits?" Lily asked nervously upon seeing Mackenzie arrive in the backyard. Jess's house had a walkout basement that emerged onto a large patio. After a bit of swimming around, the four friends decided to play a little pool volleyball. Jess and Amy set up the net which spanned the pool and formed teams. "She has a point," Lily agreed. "Don't be a spoil-sport!"

Mackenzie really didn't want to keep playing topless. She knew her friends were right. No one else could have possibly seen her. No one was in the house, and the fence was high enough that even neighboring houses couldn't look in. But she still felt so... exposed. Mackenzie looked to Jess to see what her best friend thought.

Josh unzipped Mackenzie's bag and began pulling out her clothes. He closed the bag and carried the small pile of cloth to his bedroom before stashing it away. He was confident he could narrow down what would be selected to just a few things, and then work with those. Then he worked on a few more, just to be safe. He was determined to play matchmaker that night. If he could only engineer just the right scenario for the two of them to wind up in...

Once his work was completed, he headed back down to the basement to rejoin his friends. His work would have been considerably easier if the three of them weren't there. Maybe it would be best if he had them leave. Hell maybe he could even find a way to convince Amy and Lily to go home as well. That would leave the two lovebirds all alone, and leave him free to pull the strings from behind the scenes. But Josh decided against it. Maybe that would become necessary later on, but for now having more people in the house would actually work to his advantage. He re-entered the basement and found his friends, unsurprisingly, exactly where he'd left them.

"Did he pull his phone out again?" Josh asked, gesturing to Tony.

"Nah, he's been good," Kyle said, still transfixed on the topless young woman.

"You missed it!" Lee said excitedly. "Her bottoms must've ripped or something because she just took those off a few minutes ago!"
