Chris and you are both getting exposed today!

It suddenly pops into your head that if you don't snap out of your day dream you're going to end up being late for school! You leave the bowl of oatmeal on the floor, grab your backpack, and sprint out the door.

Unluckily for you, you're ten minutes late. Even worse, Chris seemed to be just as tardy.

"Sam and Christina." Your teacher, Ms. Beltoy, uses her usual monotone voice today. "You're late; that's a detention tonight for the both of you."

There's no use in arguing with the emotionless adult, so you just roll your eyes and take a seat. It feels like forever before the day long boring lectures are over and the detention you got today for being tardy looms over your head. The last thing you want to do is go to the dumb teacher's stupid classroom, but missing it could get you in even more trouble.
