Chapter 4 by LoreMaster LoreMaster

What happens next?

An unexpected fall from the sky.

12 o’clock midnight.

Julian was having a sleepless night. There have been reports of half the worlds population disappearing and reappearing in the blink of an eye. Eager to obtain as much info as possible, Julian probes the internet looking for reports of superhero activity. Julian stared at his computer for to long and had finally fallen asleep at his desk. Unknown to him was a glowing object flying down to his house at Mach speed.

*CRASH*

“FUCK!!!” Julian screened, pierces of his bedroom roof hanged on by a thread, dust and debris now coated his room. Julian cowered against the wall praying it wasn’t some villain making an uninvited welcome into his house.

‘if it was, that would be fucking awesome’ he thought.

Instead, what he saw was a small crater in the middle of his room. A rainbow glow emanated from its center. Julian got out of bed to look inside. What he saw was the most unthinkable discovery one could make.

“That’s one hell of a glove!!!” He yelled.

The stunned young man went to the craters center. The six colorful gems glowed bright. Almost blinding him. Julian examined three gauntlet carefully.

“Those gems are bright, I wonder if there valuable? But this thing is way to big for any human hand. Big enough for the Hulk maybe............what the hell I’ll try it anyway.”

Julian reached his left hand into the giant gauntlet. His five digits touched the gauntlet and suddenly a powerful surge shot right through Julian. It than began to shrink around his hand fitting perfectly but the energy continued to surge. Julians eyes went white as the power of the gems traveled through until finally he collapsed from exhaustion.

Julians eyes shot open. His body felt heavy. He did not know how long he was out upon looking up he saw the sky was still dark.

“I feel like I got struck by lightning...”

The young man looked down to see the gauntlet was now on his hand. He could see the colorful gems shimmer with energy. But he could also feel it to. Julians thoughts raced at top speeds.

“This feels incredible, shame about the roof... dammit the family is gonna blame me for this!”

Julian clenched his fists. To his amazement, the pieces of his roof began to reform perfectly one by one until the roof was good as new.

‘Did I do that? I wonder what else I could do.’
