Chapter 5 by BiBiComte BiBiComte

What does she grace upon next?

An old headache

When Grace made it to the front entrance she stepped out of the way. A group of unruly guys were exiting. She recognized a couple from the football team. What they were doing at the library was anybody's guess -- probably playing catch with textbooks. To her misfortune, one of them noticed her, and nudged another guy.

"Hey Grace," he stopped in front of her. His wavy hair hung over the ridges of his forehead, handsomely decorating his features. His strong build signified no shortage of time in the gym. "You going to meet up with those Bible friends of yours?"

Grace nodded, looking at his eyes then to a flagpole in the distance.

The guy smirked. He sidled up to her, wrapping one arm around her hip. Mouth to her ear, he uttered, "Why don't you come with us, baby? We promise to show you a good time." His fingers dug into her tight hip, slowly gravitating down. "Besides, you'd like that, wouldn't you?"

The hip under his hand was quickly wriggled out of his grip. Grace pushed him away, looking at him sternly -- even if she looked pliable, she had more bite to her than most people knew. The jock just smirked once more. One of his colleagues called at him.

"Come on, Dale, lay off her."

"Yeah, Dale, let's go."

Dale held up a hand, quieting them. He returned his attention to Grace. "You know, I never got why you turned me down. Why you always gotta have that guard up, that... uptightness. And I'm not talking about just now."

Grace's stare remained firm as Dale continued, "I'm talking about that first year. You remember it." He sighed in reminisce. "Such a waste. You've got killer looks, but haven't even dated anybody in your life. And the way you and your other cute lady friends go teasing everybody with those unattainable bodies of yours for your 'Bible study meetings'... seriously." Dale turned to leave, but had one more thing to say. "I bet you guys are really just horndogs under the sack. You acting all prim and haughty on the outside, but after every one of your Bible lessons your get-togethers probably involve studying some other things..." He grinned. "Like, for example, each other, or that pretty little cunt of yours..."

"Dale," sighed one of his mates again. "Cut it out."

It was at this moment, however, that Grace looked up at him, not keen about Dale speaking ill of her friends.

What does she state?
