Along the cliff

After a few moments contemplation, Mackenzie chose to head along the cliff face. While it would be harder to traverse, it meant a much lower risk of encountering people, something which she desperately wanted to avoid as long as possible. She turned away from the river and briskly set off away from the river, following along the base of the cliff.

Unfortunately for her, the foliage at the base of the cliff was just as thick as the foliage on it. Unaccustomed to walking outdoors barefoot, Mackenzie quickly found her pace slowed by the numerous twigs and stones she stepped on. The thick brush constantly snagged at her battered shorts and tank top, forcing her to slow down even more as she tried to avoid tearing her clothes further. Her constant movements kept her breasts jiggling disconcertingly, and within moments her right nipple had popped out of the split in her shirt.

As she stopped to tuck her errant breast away again, Mackenzie contemplated turning back and going to the river instead. The brush would be much thinner, and the muddy riverbank would be vastly easier on her feet. But was it worth running into all those extra people?
