You have an Odd Couple kind of friendship (Woman)

You and Amy met freshman year and, somehow, the two of you had gotten close. You weren't exactly a shrinking violet, but you had a tendency to blend into the background, and compared to the impossible-to-ignore Amy, you were a little but of a strange juxtaposition standing next to each other. Sure, you might not go to many parties... or any parties... but she could stand to calm down every so often too! You couldn't count the amount of times you had to smooth things over for her when she pissed the wrong person off, let alone the amount of times you had to hold Amy back from escalating things even further. Not that you would admit it, but every so often it was fun to have her add a little craziness to your life, and she wouldn't admit how much she appreciated having someone dependable to fall back on, no matter how many time she gave you trouble for being a stick in the mud.

Of course, you couldn't save her from all of her problems, and sometimes you got caught in the crossfire too. In one particular instance, you might find yourself on the wrong end of something she started, or maybe having to suffer through one of her attempts to loosen up. Of course, its just as likely that the trouble hits her as well, and the two of you have to work together to avoid total humiliation, but either way, she was about to make your life a whole lot more interesting.
