Chapter 7 by Onlysorta Onlysorta

"I do." (no trouble on the way) "I don't." (misadventures on the way, if you even make it.)

You do, thankfully.

The gaming emporium was only about a mile and a half from the edge of your school, and god were you ever happy this wasn't your first time walking there.

It seemed like Tammy's friend Angelica was purposely trying to get the group lost, suggesting every wrong turn or path on the short trip over, and the scrawny girl who was obsessed with you didn't apparently question any of her buddy's bad directions, or, at the least didn't notice, on account of texting her other friends their new hangout spot.

This being the age of phones with GPS made the navigation trivial anyway, but you didn't bother, seeing as how you'd reached the Dungeoneer's storefront already, there's a sheet of pink paper taped to the glass front door that you don't notice but your admirer does, it reads, "Ladies Night. 6 P.M. **** Provided."

Your group crosses the threshold into the wonderland of tabletop gaming goodness, all awestruck by the sheer amount of RPG paraphernalia the storekeepers managed to cram neatly inside of the small foyer, you gasp, even if you weren't exactly into this kind of stuff it was still quite impressive.

A woman behind the main counter, one prettier than you thought might work at a game store, and a man, who might have been even more beautiful than the girl standing next to him, greet Tammy with familiarity and direct your group to the large gaming area that comprised most of the store.

"The others will be here in about eight minutes, so that should give me plenty of time to set up," The flat-chested lady crushing on you says, as you walk into the wide hall of chairs and tables. Looking around, you notice that the building is filled almost exclusively with women, nearly all of whom are drinking some form of **** or another, laughing, joking, and chattering as they roll bizarrely shaped dice, clearly having a great time. At the very back of the room, you spot a raven haired young woman wearing sunglasses who has a stack of RPG books on her table, even from this distance it's apparent that she's gorgeous, and you can't help but think you recognize her.

The bells on Dungeoneer's front entrance jingle as Tammy's other friends dance, yes dance, into the building earlier than expected, bottles of hard lemonade in hand, before she had finished setting up.

Do you...

Sit down and play an embarrassing game of D&D, or, try and see who the girl at the back of the store was?
