There had been beef between you and Denise since as far back as either of you could remember, stealing each other's crayons and pulling each other's hair became name calling and fighting for a role in the school play, became embittered glares shared in the halls and trying to woo the same guy.

As you two grew up, Denise grew an awful lot taller and stronger than you, shooting up to a towering height and joining a sports team, ensuring that any physical fights were an automatic loss for you, but that didn't mean you couldn't get to her in other, more insidious ways, like pulling her shorts down to her ankles in the hall, or, how you being shorter and acting all demure meant boys would often clamor over you, instead of her, the Varsity basketball team's star player.

The straw that finally broke the camels back between you two, however, was just last week, when Denise caught you making moves on her hot boyfriend, the aspiring painter, Anthony Chen, offering to fool around with him in secret. He hesitantly declined, but there and then, the bold jock vowed humiliating **** on the girl who wronged her one too many goddamn times.

And with the string of lousy luck you've had so far today, you feared your rival might choose now to unleash her unbridled wrath upon you. Heck, maybe she was already getting you back, and you just didn't know it yet.
