Chapter 7 by SpiralFelix SpiralFelix

Was Heather still home?

Yes, so Mackenzie gets some actual help

"What was Buster so worked up about, hon?" Heather asked she put her shoes on. Jeremy mentally cursed. She was so close to having left! But it seemed his perfect chance wasn't meant to be.

"Well... funny story," he said as his wife walked into the kitchen. "You know our neighbor Mackenzie?"

Heather gasped as she saw the naked redhead sitting on their patio. "That's Mackenzie? What the hell happened?! Why is she naked?!"

"I'd very much like to know that myself. She was in our shed and came out looking like that. It's gotta be one hell of a story."

The two of them went back outside, with Heather softly approaching Mackenzie. "Mackenzie is that you? Oh my god, what happened honey?" Mackenzie let out a few muffled unintelligible replies. "I can't understand a word she's saying, can you Jer?"

"Nope," he said. "I was just about to look for a way to try and get that can off her head."

"Uh, how about you get her some clothes first?" Heather accused.

"She can't even put a shirt on until we get all that crap off!"

"Oh sure, that's why. You just want an excuse to ogle her longer!"

"That's not- no! I just want to help!" Jeremy shouted back.

Mackenzie began to feel, somehow, even more awkward as the married couple continued arguing. So she just sat there, arms clutched to her bare chest, hoping this would all be a hilarious story to laugh about one day. Meanwhile, the couple's arguing reached a head.

"Well I'm gonna go find Mackenzie something to wear so she doesn't just have to sit around naked!" Heather shouted.

"And I'm gonna go find a way to actually help Mackenzie out of her problem!" Jeremy retorted.

They both glared at each other and then stormed inside. Mackenzie was suddenly alone again in their backyard.

What happens to Mackenzie next?
