Supergirl, The Maid of Might

Heat burned in Lois Lane's brain. She felt dizzy, uncoordinated. Doors appeared before her and she smashed them open, the flimsy steel crumpling very satisfactorily beneath her knuckles. Until finally she was out in the open air in an alley.

The whole world seemed lit by a pink glow, and Lois was surprised, as she stared down at her naked form, to see that it was coming from her. She shook her head to clear it. Covering her nipples with one arm, a hand between her legs, the reporter stumbled forward cautiously, wondering where she could get some clothes...hoping not too many people would see her.

Fat chance of that, Lois thought to herself, her whole body feeling absolutely feverish. I'm a glowing pink naked woman. I'll be lucky to make it three steps without someone posting video of me on the internet with their smartphone...

There was a hiss in the air. A familiar red cape descended swiftly from the sky. Lois Lane caught sight of the familiar S-shield over a slim torso, a flash of blonde hair. She landed on one knee before the naked reporter, in classic superhero pose, and quickly and calmly stood up, hands on her hips, chest thrust out to display the proud symbol of her house over her small breasts.

"Supergirl!" Lois said, smiling radiantly, the pink light washing over the Kryptonian's face. "Boy am I glad to see you! Listen, let me borrow your cape..."

Yet as the reporter took a step forward, the Maid of Might sagged a little and flinched away. Lois stared into those big blue eyes, saw the pupils dilate...sweat appeared on that perfect brow, and Lois could see dribbles of liquid running down the Kryptonian woman's bare legs beneath her red skirt.

"Supergirl?" Lois asked. "Kara? What's wrong, what are you..."

Before Lois Lane could ask the question, she got the answer, as the Kryptonite radiation emanating from her body worked a strange change on the Last Daughter of Krypton...
