You hesitated for too long and the stone doors completely closed off Astrids desent. 'Dammit now Astrid is trapped in the dark alone probably chasing some fake voice that was mimicking Jeanette.

You feel a hand on your shoulder from Isabella. "Hey, look… Astrid is a clever girl she'll be fine on her own."

You get your thoughts together "Well what now?"

“How about we follow the trail in the other direction. Maybe we could find that stranger or the other girls.”

Isabelle twirls in her place and starts leading the way. You can’t help but notice there’s a little bit more of a bounce in her steps now. She notices this as she stops puts her hands on her hips and looks over her shoulder. "Are you coming or not?"

"Come in there's plenty of time for gawk later." she grabs your arm and starts pulling you along away from the stone doors and back down the path that you once came.
