Snap Out Of It

Something cold and hard pressed against Lois' abdomen, just under her belly button. Almost unconsciously, Lois looked down to see something hard and metallic pressed against her shirt. The reporter blinked rapidly. Now that her eyes were off the screen, the last few minutes seemed so strange.

What was I watching? What was I thinking? Why am I so...wet?

Lois could feel the moist squelch in her pants as she shifted away from the metal object that was pressing against her stomach. Her whole body felt hot, flushed...that kind of feverish agitation that came when it had been days without an orgasm, ready to rub herself raw at the earliest opportunity. That too was weird.

Then there were the images...all those pregnant women, grossly distended...Lois had never had a fetish for such change. Not exactly a horror either, but...it was disturbing for her to be so sexually aroused at the idea of getting knocked up. A shiver ran through her at the thought, and Lois couldn't tell if it was fear or excitement.

She could still hear an audio track playing, almost at the edge of hearing, only a word or two discernible out of the babble, but those words were as disturbing as the images on screen.

It's a trap.

The thought rang out inside the reporter's head only a moment before her ears fastened on something else—Maria's voice, from the doorway, scarcely more than a whisper.

"We've lost contact. I think she might be resisting."

Maria's in on it. Damn.

Lois knew she was in a tight spot. The reporter closed her eyes against the pink flashes around the edges of her vision. She had to think...either play along or make a break for it. With the venom coursing through her system, Lois figured she could probably overpower the barmaid...if she played along, she might get more information. Tense seconds ticked by.

"Proceed to phase two?" Maria's whisper reached the reporter.

Lois knew she had to make a choice one way or another now.
