Quest to the beach.

As your group of six (technically seven) marches through the streets of Tolis, Alice walks up next to you and begin to speak.

"We received a note. It said that someone had been monitoring our progress, perhaps within the city in your absence, and explained that they would gift us information in relation to what we have been asking about on the streets. Mainly, anything we could discover about Demon King Sa'dis. They would do this in return for defeating a beast known as the Crab King. They also assured it would be there. Perhaps it surfaces around this season."

You cross your arms. "That sounds super suspicious. Are we sure about this? It's a lot of convenient stuff."

"Isn't convenient good?" Niki asks.

"Not if it's clearly weird! Is the creature really going to be there just because of the season? And why be so sneaky about asking us? If it's the city wanting it gone, they'd probably just get the knights."

"But you are a knight," Amara says. "Sir Warren."

"That's not exactly what I meant..." Though when she calls me that, I can't help but feel flattered.

"I wouldn't worry. I believe us to be well-equipped for this," Snow explains. "Though is our new gelatinous friend fit for coming with us?"

"We can't exactly leave her somewhere, and she is still a slime," Niki replies. "She can devour inorganic material... Though I guess crabs are organic. Just try to keep safe, Jelly. Let us handle the beast."

She peeks out of the pack and nods her head.

You then depart from the city and begin your journey along the coast. It's been some time since you were last here, and it was certainly under different circumstances. Now you step along the sand, gazing out at the shoreline that dances in and out under the powerful glow of the afternoon sun. The cool, ocean air is refreshing. It's all together relaxing despite you marching towards what could be a dangerous battle. Around you are strong allies you've come to trust, and it alleviates some of your fear.

Eva's and Amara's ears perk up first. Then you look around as you hear the sound of distant music. It sounds like a flute, and the melody is slow and calming. Your party continues onwards, and soon you see the source.

A distance away from shore, there's a large flat rock with two figures perched upon it. One is familiar--a cloaked, feminine figure with black feathers visible through the ends of her robe's sleeves, with matching hair hanging down from her hood. At the end of her trousers are two bird-like talons clinging to the rock beneath her. You remember seeing her at the Way Inn with Cresswell--the presumed harpy that brought your party back to you. You've hardly been able to see any of her with that baggy robe concealing her figure. She slowly turns her head, and a cold yellow gaze stares towards you from the shadow of her hood.

Beside her is a shorter girl that dresses a little more fun than her dreary companion and appears to be the source of the music--a flute in her hands, up to her lips. She wears a white dress that clings over her modest bust and reaches down just past her thighs. Around her waist is a belt with a number of pouches. She has tall leather boots that extend up to her knees, and a pale blue cloak attaches around her neck and flows low enough so that she may rest her rear upon it while sitting, which is what she's doing now. Her silver hair is up into a bob cut, but there are two features that pull your interest away from the strip of skin between her dress and boots surprisingly. One is a pair of horns sticking up from the top of her head, and the other is a silver-scaled tail curling out from inside her cloak.

She turns her silver, feline-like eyes to you as well. Slowly, she lowers the flute to her lap, and smiles at your arrival.

Is that another dragon? Does that mean William is her ally? I have to really wonder why we're here then. I doubt they just want the crab for its meat.
