Offer yourself in her place

"Guys, shouldn't we get on with it?" Ariel asks. "My plan's worked perfectly so far, and now there's just one more step."

"Yeah, let's get a move-on," Madison says. "Candy and Shonda, can you give us hand?"

The cheerleaders haul Rebecca onto her feet, and when Rebecca refuses to stand on her own accord, they plop her into a wheeled office chair.

"I've got half a mind to just leave you here for the weekend and just let them find you on Monday," Madison sneers. She wouldn't actually do that! you think to yourself. Would she?

"Oh, there's no need for that," Ariel says. "Once she makes her way into that front hall, things are going to be pretty different around here. For all of us."

"You're right about that," Madison says. "Okay, let's do it." The girls start to wheel the whimpering Rebecca toward the office door.

Here goes nothing, you say.

"Hey, wait," you speak up. They do, interested to hear what you have to say.

"Let me go instead."

"What the fuck?" says Shonda.

"Why the fuck would you do that?" asks Jillian.

"Because..." explains Ariel as if she's in middle school, "he _obviously _has the hots for Rebecca. Come to think of it, he's going to have a hard time picking between the bitch out here and the slut over there," she gestures to the nurse's office where Rachel is still, you suppose, getting dressed.

"Well, why the fuck would we do that?" Madison says.

That's a good question, you realize. _Hadn't thought that all the way through... _Still, you think you might have a way to get what you want. Which is, bizarrely, to streak your entire school.

Despite your uncertainty, you muster enough courage to say, "Well? Why don't you take a vote?"

"Oh, I like that idea!" Ariel shouts. "Let's put it to a vote!"

You've noticed that Madison is insecure about her leadership position among this group and doesn't want to lose their support. So she goes for it. "Sure," Madison says. "Let's vote."
