The corridors seemed endless, yet Blaze never wondered. The reporter's mouth went dry as she lost track of the minutes. The ****-dealing dickgirl had said it would take fifteen minutes for the hallucinogen to take effect. It couldn't have been that long already.

A door opened. Blaze stood aside to let Lois in.

It was cold inside. The reporter's nipples hardened suddenly. Complex smells washed over her...animal smells, disinfectants and cleaners, the herbal tang of marijuana, and something else, something sour...

Four women stood in harnesses that hung from the ceilings. Naked women, bodies shaved and clean. At first Lois thought they had bras on, but no—they were metallic tubes, secured with straps onto the nipple. Clear plastic tubing emerged from the back end of the metal, and something white and liquid pushed through the tubes.

The women sucked on small glass tubes. Vapor trickled from their nostrils, eyes fully dilated and unseeing. Listless they hung, bodies swinging in the bare breeze of the air conditioning, insipid smiles on their faces. Lois turned to see what they were looking at, and on the far wall were television screens, the sound muted, playing all manner of programming...brightly colored cartoons, pornographic films, weird psychedelic splotches of random color and patterns...

"This is what they pay for?" Lois said, eyes wide, trying to absorb every detail. It was so cold in here, like they were sides of beef hung up in a freezer. Behind her, Blaze shut the door.

"This is how they pay," the dickgirl said. "Constant suction and the right **** to induce lactation. Their production should increase once they get pregnant."
