Yup (Not The Brightest Idea)

Feeling brave, you decide to enter the building and search. You look to Messy, still intrigued by the scale. "Lets move Messy." She jerks her head up and follows you inside as you step through the hole and wander in.

Rubble piles up all around and the floor is completely flooded with water. Walls and doors have been knocked down as large holes are riddled through the building's interior, weakening the structure. Some rooms have collapsed beyond use and others have remained untouched. You follow the trail of crushed stone and scales through the old structure, cutting through intersecting halls and flooded rooms so not to waste time with whinding loops in the path. Messy seems to collect the scales as you go, stacking them on top of each other in her arms. She either just likes how shiny they look or maybe their coloration. As you move further inside, you pick up on something. Something echoing through the building. Screams, or yelling? You can't tell what it is but it has a voice. The deeper inside you venture, the louder it gets. You can tell it is feminine and isn't as much screaming as it is groans. Messy seems annoyed at how long you've been walking through the tunnel-like halls, beginning to slouch and drag her feet, leaving a trail of mud on any dry patches you pass.

You eventually come to a hole leading onto a cliff over a large pit-like chamber at least 10ft deep into the foundation of the structure. Rubble, mixed bones, mud, and waste swirl the bottom in a spotted black soup, a perfect nest. You find the source of the noise when you see what dwells inside the bottom of the pit.
