Not quite yet

You figure you can easily lie about how difficult it was to open the locker room door, so you probably have a few more minutes to spare.

You find a light switch in the office and look around. Mostly boring office stuff. Filing cabinets, a couple desks for the various women's sports coaches. Along the back of the wall is a closet, presumably for storage or coats, with some posters bearing inspirational sports messages.

On a whim, you try the closet door. It's locked. Odd to lock a closet, you think as you deftly pull out your magic ring of keys. By now, you're getting the hang of the key ring and select the right one on the first try. You feel the key slide all the way in, but turning it is really hard. It's as if this door hasn't been opened in ages.

Finally, you manage to twist the knob and **** the door open. You can't find a light switch but notice a bare bulb hanging overhead. You click on the light and see that this is a closet, but it's not for coats. This is where the water main is housed, with pipes traveling up into the ceiling and throughout the building.

On the other side of the utility closet is another door. These seem to be the only two entrances. You try that door and it opens easily. You walk through and find yourself in an office that's the mirror image of the one you just left. And through the window in the door opposite you, you see another bank of showers. The boys' showers.

The topography instantly clicks into place. The boys' locker room and the girls' locker room are connected through this utility closet. Apparently, the janitors only ever enter through the boys' locker room; that's why the door on the girls' side was so hard to open.

What started as a day of bad luck and turned into one of absolute humiliation has now become one of unparalleled discovery. Your mind is racing as you close up the utility closet, shut out all the lights you turned on, and start to reenter the girls' locker room. I've got to find a way back here, you tell yourself.

And then... What's that? Did you just hear someone come into the locker room?
