No, stick together

"I think us being lost together is better than each of us being lost on our own," you reply to Isabella.

"Getting through here is gonna take forever!" Astrid shouts, though you can't tell if it's in reply to you or if she's shouting her displeasure in general-- you glance over to see her kick a loose rock, but your face heats up at seeing her glutes flex as her boyshorts apparently rode up during the climb. At a short chuckle, you quickly snap back to Isabella, cocking a wry smile at you despite the circumstances.

"Maybe you want to stick together because you like the view better than just leaves and dirt, huh?" she says, her voice lowered so Astrid wouldn't hear (though Astrid seemed preoccupied by some wincing and muttering of her own, having forgotten her lost footwear when she went to kick that rock.) "Works for me. In fact, I like the way you think..."

You cough, eager to change the subject as you feel her eyes scan up and down your body, seeming to match the breeze in its ability to raise goosebumps on your skin. "So, uh, which way looks good?" There are four paths in front of you, one for each wall of the clearing you're in.

"They all look the same," Astrid points out, "No point in wasting time deciding, let's just get the hell out of here... This way!" And Astrid starts down the path that was directly in front of you as you came up the ladder. Again, you can't help but catch a glimpse of her toned cheeks-- but with a giggle and a prod to the small of your back, uncomfortably close to your waistband, Isabella nudges you after her.

The path is dirt, twigs and pebbles; not the most pleasant considering you had to discard your shoes, but it would have felt worth it to find an exit. Instead, after an awkward while of walking and a few unsure turns, you end up at a dead end.

"Well..."

"Fuck! Now what do we do?"
