More Resource Gathering

Even though sleeping in Adeline's arms was the most comfortable thing for Finn, he woke up early, more relaxed than yesterday, but still a little worried, since he began thinking about the sharkgirl again. He had a now forgotten dream about her, and while it wasn't the main aspect of his dream, Finn still felt like that was telling him something. So now that had a good night's sleep with his android roommate, Finn was determined to find some answers about the mysterious sharkgirl. But as he tried to get up, he remembered Adeline was sleeping at his side, and wasn't letting him leave.

"What's wrong Finn?... Why did you wake up so early??" - Adeline asked with a bit of concern, as she knew what time it was from her internal clock. And since she was pulling Finn to the bed, he knew he couldn't start his day without giving Adeline an answer.

"Uhh, well... I think I'm all relaxed now, so I thought it would be a good idea to go outside... and actually be productive today, instead of staying here, you know..." - Finn replied, with a somewhat nervous smile, as he needed to lie, or at least hide his intentions of searching for the sharkgirl.

"Oh, I'm glad you are feeling better and you want to do tasks and stuff but... I really liked sleeping with you soooo... Can you maybe stay in bed with me for a little longer?" - Adeline asked with a cute pout, as she intentionally used her playfulness to convince Finn, however it only made him laugh.

"I liked sleeping with you too... but, I don't think I want to go to bed again... and didn't you tell me you had no need to sleep??" - Finn asked back with a matching playful nature, as he found it silly that Adeline was trying to spend more time with him.

"Yea, I don't need to sleep... but I just love it when you hug me at night, it feels nice..." - Adeline replied with a coy smile, that was absolutely heartwarming for Finn, although not enough to convince him.

"But if you are not going to stay in bed with me, then at least give me a good morning kiss..." - Adeline said to Finn, with a flirtatious look, that made him a little embarrassed. And even though he wasn't sure about kissing the android girl, Finn couldn't resist her cuteness.

"I-... fine, here you have your kiss..." - Finn sighed in defeat, but slight amusement, after accepting to give Adeline a kiss. And as he shyly leaned in, Adeline giggled enthusiastically, before her lips touched with Finn's, and they shared a short kiss, that made both of them a little embarrassed.

"Alright Finn, that's all I wanted from you... Now go do whatever you want, have fun!" - Adeline said, with a big cheerful smile, as she was delighted by Finn giving him a kiss. And since he was starting to get embarrassed, he just nodded at her, and immediately walked out of his house, to go search for the sharkgirl at the beach. But before Finn could walk to begin his search, he was stunned to hear Faranne near him, who instantly recognized him.

"Good morning Finn, how are you feeling now?... And why are you up so early?" - Faranne asked lightheartedly, as she found it odd, but pleasant to see Finn outside so soon. And since he knew he couldn't escape from talking with Faranne, Finn quickly tried to come up with an excuse, to avoid talking about the sharkgirl he met.

"Ahh, I'm good... a little more relaxed after sleeping, you know... I was actually trying to start gathering more resources, because I feel like yesterday I didn't do too much..." - Finn tried to reply casually, but causing him to get a little nervous, which thankfully Faranne didn't seem to notice, since she was more distracted by his kindness.

"Oh, but you don't need to collect more food... we have plenty enough with what you brought yesterday... Maybe I could make you breakfast since you are so early..." - Faranne said playfully, as she still found Finn's odd behavior amusing. But since he knew he couldn't distract himself with anything, he decided to turn down Faranne's offer, and even though it hurt him, he needed to focus on finding that sharkgirl.

"No, it's fine... I could maybe eat at the beach, I just need to keep myself busy" - Finn responded, a bit afraid of looking too suspicious, as it was strange for him to skip on one of Faranne's fantastic breakfasts. And while she was surprised to hear Finn's response, Faranne understood why he was acting a bit different lately, and felt like the best way to make him feel better, is by letting him do what he desired, since only he knew what would make him happy.

"It’s okay, I'm proud of you for being so determined to help... but I think Itzel is awake right now, so take him to help you with the gathering... Just try to return with clothes next time..." - Faranne replied, in a sweet, caring, but lively manner, as she stood in front of Finn, and gently caressed his arms, and face, to soothe him a bit. And while Finn only chuckled at Faranne's lovely touches, he didn't hesitate to walk away, since he got her permission to gather more resources, and even seemed to wish him luck.

But after having a brief conversation with Faranne, the next thing Finn had to do was talk with Itzel, who was coincidentally walking around near him, and seemingly the only one awake, apart from Finn and Faranne. And even though he wasn't sure if Itzel wouldn't mind gathering more resources again, Finn decided to ask him. Although, if Itzel didn't want to, Finn would understand, and just try to do it himself.

"Hey dude, how are you doing?... Faranne said I should take you with me to the beach..." - Finn asked, in a **** friendly manner, as he wanted to be direct with Itzel, without revealing his actual intentions to him.

"Umm, hi, I'm good... How are you? And why are we going to the beach?" - Itzel replied slightly skeptical of Finn, who seemed a bit nervous to talk with him, even when they were only talking about a simple topic.

"Oh you know, we just have to collect more food... I think Adeline woke up feeling hungry, so I believe we will have to get a lot for today" - Finn replied nonchalantly, to give Itzel a fake reason to go to the beach, that he actually believed more, and found it quite funny.

"Really?... well, I guess I could do more tasks... But I'm only doing this to see Adeline eat our entire lunch..." - Itzel asked with a chuckle, after Finn motivated him to continue gathering resources, even though he was already a bit tired of doing it from yesterday.

"Yea, let's go... She is very picky so we have to get her good food" - Finn replied, after nervously laughing at his joke, since he wasn't sure if it was going to work. But now that he had Itzel on his side, and he convinced him to go to the beach, Finn tried to remain calm, and hide his true intentions from his halfling friend.

As they began walking to the beach, to casually collect more food for the village, Itzel wasn't thinking much about what they were going to do, that's until he started to notice Finn's nervous attitude a bit more. Itzel saw Finn's distracted eyes looking at everything around them, but since he didn't know what he was thinking about, he just gave Finn a suspicious look, who only continued trying to hide his goal of finding the sharkgirl that attacked him yesterday.
